Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (JN 8:32)

OK, lets see what the Supreme Court of Texas says about this fiasco. Just in case ya'll don't know, Texas saw a problem that the US might have with justices serving for life back in the day. When Texas voted it's constitution into existence the justices are elected to the Supreme Court. That means they answer to the people, all 75% of them who voted against this abomination. It will take more than one judge to change TEXAS LAW.

Sounds like Steve is very confused about which sex he wants to be. Jesus can help him solve his problem, but only if he tests the spirits so he will not be deceived, again.

garageguy, it's such a pity that the TRUTH can't be heard by your ears. But we will pray for your ears to be opened to the TRUTH of God's word. In the meantime you seem to be following F. Lee Bailey's words: If you have the facts on your side; pound the facts, if you have the law on your side; pound the law, if you have neither; pound the table. Your fist ought to be hurting by now.

As Amiel said,"Charles Who". Perhaps what is left unsaid is we want those who don't know who Darwin is to take our spin on him. That could leave a pretty small target audience that have never heard of C.D. The movie will be interesting to watch just to see which way it will go with the 'theory'.

My prayers go out to Josh and his wife. I have an almost similar circumstance. Just reversed it. My wife had a moment of pride, not a relapse, that she could handle it now. She found out that pride gets you in more trouble than maybe any other sin. She immediately recognized what had happened, and asked my forgiveness. Which I readily gave her in Jesus name. Steveh20, please recognize what this is- sin. Only then can it be dealt with in a way that real healing can begin. Be blessed in Jesus name.

Being a Native Texan, I can tell you what they taught about Texas history back in the 60's. When Texas was a Mexican state, the Mexican government invited settlers from the North to come to Texas. But you had to convert to Catholicism to become a Mexican citizen and own land. (Put this in the history books, religion is involved. State mandated like England and the Church of England) Settlers from America came to start a new life with cheap land, so, they accepted the terms even if in name only. This later became a point of contention among many points. So, yes, religion has played a role in many aspects of the history of the world, this country, and Texas and should be included in the books. Nuff said.
Just give the 'left' time to read it, like say a couple of days, and watch the sparks start to fly.
Perhaps, Daverly, they will learn that David and Jonathan's love for each other is from the HEART and has NOTHING to do with sex. What a concept!!? Love, true love, is from the soul. Just like Jesus' love for us ALL.
Just cuz somebody says that they are something; Hindu, Muslim, Christian...etc, doesn't make it the Truth. Let what you say and how you say it show what you are. Example: Obama says he is a Christian. His statements before and since do not match Christ's teachings, ergo He is not a Christian. A Christian will readily state to anyone within earshot "Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. He died for my sins." If you can't, won't or don't make that statement, then the Lord is not in you, and you are not a Christian. Where is Obama's and McCain's statement to that effect? I pray that both men would see the Lord's glory and put that in their speech and actions. The Lord, He is God. HE IS IN CONTROL. HIS WILL BE DONE.
Dear Lord God, bring us a just man. One raised up by You, for Your glory. Lord God, in Jesus name, please Bless the U.S., while we will Bless You. Please forgive us our continued sins. Show us the way to repentance. In Love, amen

star2 is right on. Add 1Tim 1:10 and that obscure passage in Romans (1:24-27)
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
