  • Final 'Harry Potter' Hits Shelves … as a Christian Tale?

The seventh book is out. Abigail BeauSeigneur’s analysis has been proven correct: J.K. Rowling intended the Harry Potter series as a Christian allegory.

You can fault Rowling for her approach all you like, but she has gone deep into enemy territory to seek tens of millions of lost souls.

The question to each of you is this: Are you going to learn at least enough about the story to use it to witness to Harry Potter fans? You don’t even have to buy the books or watch the movie. Abbey’s original article is available at www.selectivehouse.com/harrypotter.htm. In a few days, she will have a follow-up article explaining the key things you need to know to reach Harry Potter fans with the Gospel. When ready, the second article will be available at www.selectivehouse.com/harrypotter2.htm.

So, which will you be: evangelist or Pharisee?
