"The fact that you've been posting on any board having to do with homosexuality for literally years, is living proof that you still can't over come it. LOL "

The real fact is that he is posting on a Christian board - which has been invaded by perverts and their cronies.

I can say I can fly but it does not make it true. Man can say anything they choose, but God will be the judge in the end.

Good for them. A church whose morals are in the toilet is not the place for a Christian to be.

No - why don't you start one that caters to unnatural filthy lifestyles. The church of Jesus Christ has been established for 2000 years and follows Christian morals, and is being infiltrated by people pretending to be Christians. Why? Once the true Christians flee from this, the few of you left can play church until your hearts content.

“Furthermore, we do not know the budgetary implications of our recent decision on human sexuality," he told council members."

Is this guy for real? What about the spiritual implications of leading multitudes of blind people to eternal damnation?

What makes being gay bad?" That's an easy one, actually. It's dirty and perverted.

Simple but true. Who would disagree other than the dirty and perverted.

Flagged as inappropriate. show "Wrong, John5796. I can't marry my life partner because some bossy bigoted people decided they don't understand or approve of two men in love. When questioned they generally pass the buck to their religious beliefs. Hence, I'm stuck living my life according to your religion even though I don't subscribe to it. I break no laws by being gay, but I'm never going to fall in love with a woman, so the way I see it there is no legal basis on which to deny me a marriage license. Just a matter of time, because treating law-abiding citizens differently under the law goes against what America is. Enjoy your bigoted power now, you won't have it much longer. You should never have had it in the first place." The way things are headed, your last sentences are probably right, just as the bible predicted. Morality going down the toilet, man thinking he knows better than God, too proud to admit fault, calling good evil, calling evil (sodomy) good, etc, etc. hide

  • U.S. Appeals Court Urged to Dismiss 'So Help Me God' Lawsuit

    John5796 »
    Fri Oct 16, 2009 1:16 pm Agree: 9   Disagree: 14

Flagged as inappropriate. show "This past January, just days before the presidential inauguration, a federal district court had rejected a lawsuit that had been filed the month before by some 30 plaintiffs, including California atheist Michael Newdow, who previously attempted to remove "under God" from public schools' recitals of the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance." I find it amazing the 30 malcontents are even heard in a court of law, and how small perverted groups are tearing away at the moral fabric of this society. hide

"Besides TLChild, I don't subscribe to any of your religious beliefs. So why is it that I should have to live by them?"

You do not. We all have free will. When you eventually find out you were wrong, it will sadly be too late.

Apparently this church still believes that sin is sin regardless of a sick society, and decided not to throw Christian morals out the door to appease it.

"What does that have to do with U.S. civil law?"

Absolutely nothing. The laws that come from this immoral society are in no way tied to the laws of God - at least not any more. Hope that answers the question.

"To me it appears that He was in a committed relationship with Lazarus."

How could you possibly arrive at that? I have read the bible at least 50 times since I learned to read many years ago and have never seen anything that could even be mis-interpreted to suggest this. Believe it or not, I truly pray for you.
