    Bishop Fulton J. Sheen: "Not 100 in the United States hate the Roman Catholic Church, but millions hate what they mistakenly think that the Roman Catholic Church is."

    The biggest deterrent for Conversions to Catholicism, and in fact Christianity in general, is the behavior of Catholics and Christians respectively. We should be set apart from the world. So I might agree, better a fervent Evangelical, then a lukewarm Catholic.
