Cornerstone?...hmmm...that's a worry..
Pastor John Hagee
“Christians have listened for many years to the preaching of John Hagee, senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas. Hagee attended Trinity University on a football scholarship, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree before earning his master’s at North Texas State University. He also studied at Southwestern Bible College and was granted an honorary doctorate from Oral Roberts University.”

The Other Gospel Of John Hagee by G. Richard Fisher, PFO, 1999
"Most people who see and hear the Rev. John C. Hagee are impressed. He is rotund, strident, authoritative (and could well pass for Rush Limbaugh’s older and more serious brother). His delivery alone gives the impression of one who really knows what he is talking about. However, careful evaluation of the teachings of Hagee, pastor at the San Antonio-based Cornerstone Church, reveals false teaching and a defective view of a basic and essential issue regarding salvation and the Gospel. Hagee preaches another way of salvation for the Jew, which is in direct violation of Paul’s warnings in Galatians 1:6-9."

Redefining Christianity: Understanding the Purpose Driven Movement...
"The author of this book examines The Purpose Driven Church, The Purpose Driven Life, and the business system that Rick Warren has developed to promote it around the world. He looks carefully at his claims, his use of scripture, his integration of human wisdom with scripture, and his ability to get thousands of pastors to convert from expository Bible preaching to being Purpose Driven. In the end he compares Rick Warren’s version of “church health” with that of Jesus Christ. The reader will see how Rick Warren has indeed redefined Christianity."

A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing How Charles Finney's Theology Ravaged the Evangelical Movement: http://www.spurgeon.org/~phil/articles/finney.htmless
R. C. Sroul says in his excellent 120 pages or so book "Knowing Scripture" that; "Sometimes it seems as though the only people who take the time to study it (the Bible) are those with the sharpest axes to grind against it. Many people study it to find possible loopholes so they can get out from under the weight of its authority." If Bart Ehrman has not been born again he is only adding to his woes
The Ehrman Project: http://www.ehrmanproject.com/ Dr. Bart Ehrman is raising significant questions about the reliability of the Bible. In an engaging way, he is questioning the credibility of Christianity. His arguments are not new, which he readily admits. Numerous Biblical scholars profoundly disagree with his findings. This site provides responses to Dr. Ehrman's provocative conclusions.

A Biblical Critique of Chuck Smith's Study:...
"Calvinism, Arminianism & The Word Of God"
“In this article we will look at the unbiblical and incorrect statements of Mr. Chuck Smith of "Calvary Chapel" fame, with respect to his study on election and predestination. His study reflects not only his own personal views but that of the leadership of most, if not all Calvary Chapel churches. The "Calvary Chapel" collection of churches represent a sort of pseudo denomination that branched out from Mr. Smith's original mega church out in Costa Mesa California. These folks are correct about many spiritual issues but they are dead wrong about their views on Calvinism as I will point out in this study. My comments are in bold print and the text of Mr. Smith's study is in unbolded print. Please read this study carefully and completely. It is not meant as an exercise in speed reading. You are bound to miss some important points if you do not spend quality time digesting this material.”

As of yet Chuck Smith has not repented of his sinful, inaccurate attacks on Calvinism and he will give an account to God. I do not call myself a “Calvinist,” I am a Christian. I believe Reformed/Calvinistic Theology is what the Bible teaches and agree with C. H. Spurgeon when he said:
"We believe in the five great points commonly known as Calvinistic; but we do not regard these five points as being barbed shafts which we are to thrust between the ribs of our fellow Christians. We look upon them as being five great lamps which help to irradiate the cross; or, rather, five bright emanations springing from the glorious covenant of our Triune God, and illustrating the great doctrine of Jesus crucified.
I have my own private opinion that there is no such thing as preaching Christ and Him crucified unless we preach what is nowadays called Calvinism. It is a nickname to call it Calvinism; Calvinism is the Gospel and nothing else. I do not believe we can preach the Gospel... unless we preach the sovereignty of God in his dispensation of grace; nor unless we exalt the electing, unchangeable, eternal, immutable, conquering love of Jehovah. Nor do I think we can preach the Gospel unless we base it upon the special and particular redemption of his elect and chosen people which Christ wrought out upon the cross; nor can I comprehend the Gospel which allows saints to fall away after they are called."less
"Watcher, why don't honesty and athesism go together?"...atheists are bold in your face liars because they lie about the fact that God exists, they deny that God exists and say that God doesn't exist and that is a in your face, cold hearted, unloving, uncaring, selfish LIE and all liars will be cast into the lake of fire. The truth is crystal clear, God is I AM, God is self existent...
all the evidence is in that dirty great huge mountain of & rocks & gold & diamonds & stones & fossils & this & that and God created all that in a flash, boom, bang, pop, in a twinkling of the eye which has taken millions of years for some folks to figure out...fairly scientific if you ask me...
I consider myself as a Christian theist because God opened my eyes, unplugged my ears and raised me from spiritual death, all things I could not have done myself. I am no longer blind and can now see the watch, I am so glad the watchmaker wasn't blind otherwise the timing would be all wrong...

Chosen By God (video series)...
Many people reject Reformed theology or Calvinism because they believe it teaches that God drags people kicking and screaming into the church against their will. This, however, is a gross distortion of the biblical doctrine of election, which is grounded in God’s love for His people. In this series, Dr. Sproul carefully explains the meaning of God’s sovereignty in the work of redemption and shows how it relates to the will of man.

If God’s justice so happens to be torturous, painful, agonising, tormenting, forever, for the sinner within the confines of the lake of fire under the wrath of God it is what the unrepentant sinner deserves and nothing else. It is not God actively inflicting torture on them out of some fiendish delight and far be it from you to even suggest such a thing of the God who is thrice times Holy. You tread on dangerous ground to even hint at a such a concept. Who are we to argue with God's justice, which MAY seem cruel to us mere humans but perfectly just to the God who is?
The torturous torment within the lake of fire is not God putting sinners on the rack to extract information from them (He knows everything anyways) or any other method of torture like a human being may inflict on another human being, the torture/torment of o so many lost regrets haunting the damned in the lake of fire forever is self inflicted under the wrath of God, they have no one to blame but themselves, God gave them ample warnings so no one has an excuse. The torture/torment in the lake of fire is never ending, zillions times worse than we can possibly imagine and yet is what all of us deserve.
The word “torture” can be used in various ways, for example: “It was sheer torture waiting for my exam results,” “It was pure torture the pain of that toothache,” going to the dentist can be torture, “That marathon run through Death Valley was torture.”less
the unrepentant sinner who engages in the sin of homosexuality and dies in that state will be cast into the lake of fire forever. Torture? Worse than any torture one could ever imagine, eternal concious torment of lost regrets... "Any man who thinks that he deserves heaven is not a Christian.
