  • Prayers Urged for Christian Hotel Owners Sued by Gay Couple

pj- That was probably the single most blatant intentional misrepresentation of Scripture, or innocent ignorance of the New Covenant and it's application to Jews and Gentiles that I've ever seen. Please let me know if you are attempting to be a non-religious Pharisee, or if you would like to learn how Old Testament Laws apply to us today. Either way, be blessed.

Interesting, Doesn't God's law clearly trump the law of the land? God's law says homosexuality is a sin. These hotel owners were obeying God's law and did not provide a way for this couple to violate God's law under their watch. I completely support them. I'd rather be convicted in man's court of law than God's court of law. If God be for us, who can be against us?

God allowed the sin of the Canaanites and all those living in the region to reach its peak to warrant destruction. As I look at Romans 1, I see God turning the unrepentant over to their sinful desires because they refused to accept His saving Grace. It seems that God is allowing for the case of the homosexuals to be built up, so logically, what do we expect to happen since God does not ever change (Malachi 3:6/Hebrews 13:8). Judgment is coming. On of my many jobs as a Christian in the military is to warn people of this judgment to come. While God WILL judge this fad, He does offer us Salvation. Its still not too late. I'm still praying for gays to allow God to work on them and conform them to Christ's Image. Be blessed.less

Regardless of what happens, God is in complete control. As an AD Air Force member, if they keep DADT in effect, praise God! If they repeal it, praise God... at least most of those who carry this vile spirit will be able to openly admit it... leaving me to pray that spirit out of them. Come to my office with that openly gay business if you want to, and watch me get my Matthew 10:1 on.

I solely want want Christians to be obedient to God in the area that HE called them too. While I do agree that salvation is of the utmost importance, we cannot forget to meet the needs of the less fortunate... especially if this is the ministry God called one to. Please understand my heart on this, as the true intent of what I was saying was lost through the medium of text. With the Scripture you cited from Psalm 137, I'm sure you can see that the Psalmist doesn't equate generalized baby killing to happiness, as this would put the Word of God in blatant contradiction when the Bible says that God is love. However, upon examining this Psalm, we must remember that the Bible does not spare the human emotions that were going through the writer at the time. An example of this can be seen in Romans 7, with The Apostle Paul's internal dilema. I pray that you understand that the Psalmist at this time was so fed up with how his people were being treated that he lashed out in pure anguish... an emotion that the Word does not appear to hide (see Psalm 22). In no way, shape, or form does this passage insinuate that baby killing is the way to happiness.

5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Notice the "before I formed you in the womb".

    Psalm 51:5
5 Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.

    Notice the onset of sin.

God did not create a person as a homosexual. We were born into sin. Notice when Jesus casted out demons and evil spirits, He didn't cast out the person. An example of such can be found in Luke 8:26-33. There is a clear distinction between the person and the spirit of homosexuality that controls their lives...

I do not hate the homosexual, but I hate the evil abominable spirit of homosexuality that resides within them.

If only Christians can get that same boldness and stand on the Word of Yahweh in regards to righteousness...

Christians, it is OUR fault why the spirit of homosexuality is as "powerful" as it is now. It's OUR fault that this movement has got to this point. The world is going to be the world and those in sin are going to do what sinful people do, sin... We have to stand on God's Word and in faith. Allow me to illustrate my point with biblical evidence of this:

    2 Chronicles 7:14
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

notice how Yahweh said "MY people"...

    Isaiah 59:19
19So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Remember, God gave us POWER over ALL unclean spirits (like homosexuality) (Matthew 10:1) because the Yeshua in us is greater than any spirit in the word (1 John 4:4).

When are we gonna take back the authority given to us in Gen 1:26 and given back to us on Calvary?less

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Glad that this couple is standing on faith and in the Word of God. The enemy is always trying to remind you of the things that God already forgave you for. Although you reap what you sow (Gal 6:7), God's grace is sufficient (2 Cor 12).
