I will certainly pray more about that from now on.less

Hola Juan. Though I discern a bit of sarcasm in your reply, I partially agree with you. I do feel there are some people out there who focus less on what Christ requires of all his followers and more on simply going "AH HA!" to someone's sin. However there are others out there, who are accused of being one of these hypocritical accusers, who are not proclaiming something a sin in order to be oppres...more

However there are others out there, who are accused of being one of these hypocritical accusers, who are not proclaiming something a sin in order to be oppressive but rather to warn them of something dangerous. You may not agree it is dangerous, but some of these people have pure motives when they do so and therefore they ought to not be judged so harshly... Their intensity is equivalent to someone who is concerned for a person addicted to alcohol or drugs.less

It depends on the community I suppose. Overweight Christians, l sadly include myself in this group, are not very common in my area, but I agree with some posters gluttony is an underfocused problem. On a personal level I realize me being fat is a concern spiritually and physically. In regard to the church itself, I do feel the sin of gluttony ought to be talked about more often, but let's face it ...more

Passed is spelled wrong in the last sentence. Also I'm not sure how this topic fits this website considering this is a purely political issue... But alright if one must talk about this, I don't like the way either side is reacting and I'm from Wisconsin so I've experienced this first hand. I do not agree with Harold Camping and that is not who I was referring to. I was referring to the fact nations within the Middle East are in revolt and appear to be changing regimes. The way it seems to be going thus far (meaning it could turn out differently I'm not saying it's set in stone to happen exactly as I'm imagining) is that most if not all of them will have new people in power, but all ...more

Usually I like hearing from Dr. MacArtbur, but in this case I agree MacArthur is wrong about this one in regard to rebelling... However, I will agree with him in that this may not turn out as shiny or promising as some people are imagining, but only time will tell on that one.

I'll agree on the fact the Bush Jr Administration did some pretty bad stuff, in fact I would have added Alberto Gonzales to your list of offenders, but when it comes to the war Obama hasn't been much different to Bush other then signing the repeal of DADT and "promising" a deadline for Iraq... I mean he never closed Guantanamo bay even though he said in his campaign he would within the first year of office. His excuse was "well nobody will take them" even though there's a prison in Montana who said "GIVE THEM TO US!"

Now this isn't me just bashing Obama, I'm a moderate and during the 2008 election I voted for Obama. But my point is the way politics have functioned in this country there isn't much of a difference on how the Dems and Reps are when in control, besides of course the attitude towards issues like abortion. Basically, both are using clever distractions and are slowly taking away our rights in order to eventually have America fall and join into a NWO. (it has been discussed as a way to resolve the world debt crisis...) In fact, I bet if someone were to have arrested or charged Bush with something that Obama would pardon him... just like Gerald Ford did with Nixon...less
