Chevy ... absolutely OK :^) Simple misunderstanding. If you click on my name, you can look through my post history and see that I don't always make my point clear ... especially if I'm in a particularly silly mood (lots of those days). Incidentally, I completely agree with you on the film; it's not like you could just walk out of a plane. I have a 6 yr old and an 18 mo old, myself, and would n...more

LOL; Especially when my 6 yr old would ask, "Daddy, what's Queen Amadala doing with that other girl?"less

Chevy ... I was trying to make a point to "Do unto others" (who's doing a fine job at being sarcastic). I would have just as soon said 'Veggie Tales'. BTW, I'm not a muslim; I'm not sure where you're getting that (???)

Since it's all about just being informative, I guess you'ld have no problem with your young children seeing 'The Passion', then?

Christians probably "seem" happy about it to you because you're misinterpreting them. Trust me ... Christians do NOT want to see ANYONE go to Hell. If we did, we actually would just leave everyone else alone, and stop trying to help people come to know Christ.

Johnson, I will concede that there are some extremely questionable things that have been done or at least said by Christians in the past and definitely in the present. Then the rest of us at least of a trail to go on to form a rebuttal (if it can be rebutted; like I said ... nobody's above reproach. Even Christians). BTW, have you ever said or done anything in your life that you truly regret?less

paul1149 ... I'm guessing that SBellam is hitting mine, and a couple other of our fellow Christians (where only 1 is applied). johnson, you know ... other atheists who have posted here had crying fits whenever a believer invoked Godwin's Law. So maybe you should drop the ridiculous Hitler analogy. Oh, c'mon lpepperw. I like JM. To be fair, there has been no human example of God's Love ever except in Christ. But I will concede to this; Sometimes MacArthur's commentary needs commentary ;^)

One other thing I wanted to add ... have patience with your prayer. Be consistent. The answer may come in one or one-thousand prayers, but keep praying for that wisdom and follow any notions you have to read God's Word. He seems to have a way of presenting the truth ... subtly. At least, in my own experience. And He will always grant to those who are truly looking.
