God will always come up short, and thus our understanding will be limited to worldly definitions and paradigms. We must have spiritual discernment to be able to identify what is of God.

Start with James 1:5-8 - "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do."less

Very well written article. And intuitively understandable ... for the Christian, who has a relationship with our Lord & Savior.

Someone has said that if Christians really understood the full extent
of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless.
Did you know that during WWII there was an advisor to Churchill who
organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every
day at a prescribed hour for one minute to collectively pray for the
safety of England , its people and peace? There is now a group of
people organizing the same thing here in America . If you would like to
participate: Every evening at 9:00 PM Eastern Time (8:00 PM Central)
(7:00 PM Mountain) (6:00 PM Pacific), stop whatever you are doing and
spend one minute praying for the safety of the United States, our
troops, our citizens, and for a return to a Godly nation.. If you know
anyone else who would like to participate, please pass this along. Our
prayers are the most powerful asset we have. Please forward this to
    your praying friends.

But I watched this video; Heynes did not react until he was hit a couple times. Then, after his defensive retaliation ... he walked away and let it go, like a man. He did just what we, as parents, should teach our children about self-defense: Use your words to resolve conflict, get help if available (none that I could see in this case). Have the right amount of patience. Then, if all else fails, with the other cheek already turned ... aim carefully and make those punches count. Most importantly, show mercy (seen in video), and forgiveness (not seen but we pray that Heynes understands).less

It's rather hypocritical BTW, to assume that what he said was racist, when it's clear that YOU are the one associating Obama's skin color with a location, namely Kenya. WHO is being racist, here? Do you think that the "entire" population of Kenya is black? The question was whether or not Obama was born in the U.S. I don't really question it, myself ... although that's beside the point. It appeared from your post that YOU were the one making "racist" associations.less
