Regardless of our pre, mid, post views it is vital we are all living daily expectant of our Lords return. Post tribbers are just generally more prepared to face persecution.

And Prophet I'm not claiming anything you have said to be erroneous. Just that many believe when any prophet gives a prophecy and it does not unfold how they interpret it to be they discredit it as not from God. We should all weigh heavily scripture against a given word and not be too quick to elevate our own understanding over that which is given from God. All should be for the edification of the church. Consider Paul on his way to Jerusalem, with prophets informing him to not proceed further because of the infliction and persecution that awaited him yet he had a better understanding of God's will for him. Were the prophets wrong?, no, they just were applying their understanding and emotion to what God had revealed unto them.

Bucket didn't The Lord pray before choosing His disciples? I am persuaded that Jesus did receive direction from The Father. Did not also The Lord say He only tells us that which He HEARS from The Father. God does not hurry to accomplish that which the prophets speak, rather He reveals that which He is going to do to his prophets. Your post seems to insinuate that God responds to the prophets word. Some prophecies seem erroneous due to the prophets inability to keep their influence off of the revelation. If Peter went around telling everyone about the great sheet that therein was all manner of beasts and God told him to rise kill and eat, what would the people say, but after waiting upon God he saw it meant something far greater than he could have known. What would you think if a prophet told you to eat nothing but bread cooked over human feces, would he be considered crazy?

Concerning the bread that Jesus fed to the thousands, would science find the bread to be wheat of months in age or would it have been minutes old if one were able to measure the age of that bread, after God made it out of nothing?

Jesus fed the masses out of compassion yes...and what happened of the 5000...only the twelve remained. As Christians eternity is much more important than the few seconds we are here today. Today is the day of Salvation while it is still called today. While it is important to feed the hungry, if you do not feed them with Jesus the works are fruitless. Preach the word with the Power of the HOLY SPIRIT! Not heres a hamburger, if you say you believe in Jesus there will be more tommorow.

Scitsonga, The passage means that if mans wisdom is his own, separate from God, it is foolishness. God is willing to bless anyone with wisdom if he asks in FAITH. The worlds dealings, always looking for answers apart from GOD THE FATHER OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, are foolishness.

Honesttruth a Christian does not deny Jesus calling him a liar. So let me ask you a question, John 14:6 is this the Word of God? If so then how can one call themselves a Christian and deny this as Truth. GODS JUDGMENT IS FINAL not ones sensitive self righteous, my god would never send a good antichrist person to Hell, judgment. People need to wake up from this END TIME religion of ignorant self righteousness.

Just because someone tells you your doing something wrong doesnt mean they hate you. Its really the opposite. I hope people can realize that something is not altogether right with calling someone warning you of sin a Hatemonger and then calling yourself a Christian. If you dont see the devil in that I honestly fear for your soul. If you fail to warn others of the sin they are commiting their blood is on you. REPENT THE DAY OF THE LORD IS AT HAND!!!

The things the church is truly lacking fasting, prayer, and Spirit feeding! Robert Bogucki type fasting, L. Ravenhill type prayer and Pauline spirit feeding.

I do believe that new born Christians should fast from the music thay've listened to. I've had to rebuke many songs in the name of Jesus, that I found myself singing for no good reason. I couldnt find any music of old I should be listening to. I threw it ALL away. I think there are many things Christians should fast from today...TV...Radio...Cell Phones...Computer...if the thought of fasting from anything bothers you, you should truly consider fasting from it. I dont mean a fast of which you could accidentally do either i.e. meat for a day or chocolate.
Huron if you use just a little bit of that hope you had for a better argument on hope for the existence of God, sincerely desiring to know, having faith God will reveal himself unto you, HE WILL!!!

12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned

26For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
29That no flesh should glory in his presence.

2 Timothy 3
1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Im sure noone hear tells their kids about Santa Claus because they are truly worshipping Christ, right? In fact I'm sure your so stedfast about your faith that when you think of everyone elses kid laughing at or deriding yours because they dont believe in Santa Claus it makes your stomachs cringe. Not because of fear but because of the utter lack of truth that few bare in their hearts. You should celebrate the birth, death and resurrection of our Lord daily not once a year and to give your children over to a lie for the sake of what? Because it makes you feel all fuzzy inside? Teach your children about the incomparable gifts of the Holy Spirit and the holiness expected to partake in those gifts. Our children deserve much better than they are getting.
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
