ARTM,
Please, please, please, learn of what you speak before you judge. What does it say in Hebrews 11 about "so great a cloud of witnesses?" Are those "dead" saints. Do we really die when we die? What was it our Lord told Peter when He instituted the church? Read your Bible then read the Catacumen before you make such an ignorant judgement against so many Christians.

You must understand that Christ loves the sinner but hates the sin. You know this. A deveate life style is against the very foundation of the Christian home instituted by our soverign God, but you already know this. You state that you are "coming out." Of what are you coming out? A life of sin and deceit. Are you seeking acceptance for your life style or are you asking for forgiveness and prayer support for a change of life style?
Talk about a strong Protest(ant) viewpoint and interpretation. Since there is not enough room to properly debate this issue, try reading Peter Kreft, or even Saint John Crystosom (John the Golden Mouth) and then consider with an open mind what you have learned. Then you will see the fullness of truth and what it really means to believe in the holy Apostolic and Catholic Church.

Dear Brother Creation,
Try reading the Catacumen of the Catholic Church before you judge. You will find that you teaching of the Bible being literally true and infallible are secure only in the fullness of truth that the Catholic Church holds dear. There has been no deviation in the teaching of truth and morals since the church in Antioch in AD 95. Since you are evidently a protest(ant) try understanding at least the erse when Jesus breathed upon Peter the Holy Spirit and told Peter that upon him (peter) He (Jesus) would build his church, and ther gated of Hell would not prevail against it. Now then, check and see how many protest(ant) pastors have preaches on that passage of scripture. At the same time, learn enough Latin to verify what those sermons tell you. Once you do you will be joining the local RCIA class at your local Parish church and preparing for the Easter Vigil. MArk my words. It is the "fullness of truth." As Bishop Sheen stated, "no one hates the Catholic Church. They hate what they think the Catholic Church is. Find out for yourself.
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
