  • Over 800 Scientists Stand Against Language Critical of Evolution

As a Wildlife Biology major at Colorado State University in the early 1980's one of my pro-evolutionary professors put the infamous evolutionary chart of the horse up on the screen. She explained to the class that although we had all seem and been taught in high school biology that the chart was real, it really was not. The various forefathers of the modern horse were not actually the forefathers of the modern horse. One was actually a living hyrax, and horses with more than one toe exist today. However, she said that the chart was valuable even though it was false because it taught what evolutionists want to teach and they don't have anything better!
But, I suppose that pointing out that little inconvenient truth would be to critical of evolutionists today with their open-minded approach.
    Ironic, isn't it?

    I agree with SqueakyWheel!

If you believe the Bible teaches that abortion is murder then you should vote for a prolife candidate, regardless of skin color or party affiliation; if you believe the Bible teaches marriage is one man one woman, then vote for the candidate that opposes same-sex marriage, regardless of skin color or party affiliation.

    Vote your Christian beliefs!

I don't know why people have trouble believing that God can and does raise up leaders and nations to use as instruments of judgment.

Why not believe that God has raised up President Bush and the United States "For Such a Time as This" (http:pg.mapleknoll.us/forsuchatime.html).

Here is a problem I have with people who try to waffle on the life issue by claiming that no one really knows or can tell when life begins or when the soul enters in the body. If you are not sure about either, why not err on the side of caution? If you don't believe the clear teaching of the Bible that life begins at conception (Psalm 139:13-16), when do you believe life begins?

If you are sure that baby is alive and has a soul when it is born, but you are not sure if it was alive or had a soul at 6 months, wouldn't it be prudent to protect it at 6 months just in case? Or at 5 months? Or at 4 months? Or at 3 months? Or at 2 months? Or at 1 month? Or at conception? When the question of a human life is in the balance, then we ought to err on the side of caution and protect that child at the earliest possible moment (conception).

Even someone accused of murder has to be proven guilty beyond any reasonable doubt before being executed...

What an opportunity to reach perhaps one of the most unreached segments of our society with the Gospel: the media!

    As the Apostle Paul said:

"For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. (1 Corinthians 16:9)"

If I might paraphrase Rob Boston’s lament: "I miss the days when pastors delivered sermons without fear of government oversight and politicians delivered political speeches reflecting their beliefs; moral, spiritual, and political. The United States is increasingly diverse religiously. The job of a political activist is to divide all those different people and bring them arguments about personal policy goals, not to lecture the nation’s pastors and mislead people about God."
