  • 5 Common Growth Barriers Churches Deal With

I pastor a growing congregation and for the first time we're able to freely give our entire congregation books, hire staff to minister to them effectively, reach more people and experience more salvation because we have grown.

As spiritual leaders, we must be extremist in spiritual matters, pro morality and con immorality. But sometimes we tend to be extremist in areas we don't need to be extreme in.

The only redemptive value this article has is it's intent to see the gospel preached to more people. That can't be a bad thing. The article deals with church structure not theology. Take it on it's own merit.

The right structure can better aid in the delivery of our theology. I need all the help I can get to reach more people so that my congregation can continue to grow spiritually and as a result also numerically.

What accounts for our recent growth is the change in our structure, our theology and passion for God remained constant. I now believe that I was the hinderance to God growing our own church.

God can do some extraordinary things in our lives if we would get out of the way.
