    But yes, it is true that the Romans copied their gods from the one True God. That much is true. That is Satan's forte. Take the truth, pervert it, and sell it back to a bunch of simple minded people.

    It's a good thing I don't pay attention to what people say. I'm more concerned about what God said. I don't care if 6 billion people didn't believe in God. He's not going to suddenly disappear just because people don't believe in him. LOL.

    "weekender-no, that clump of cells cannot live outside the body-where are you getting your facts?
    rj78-no, God doesn't mention anything about abortion in the bible-besides, who said the bible was everyone's word of God anyway?"

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    1. Murder is wrong in God's eyes, and abortion is murder.
    2. True that the Bible isn't everyone's "word of god". There are many other false gods floating around the world today that people attach themselves to. But there is still only one true God, spoken of in the Bible: Jesus Christ.
    Praise God that the voters repealed this. There are people out there who do still have Godly morals and still excercise their right to vote.
    "See this is another contradiction, you claim your god to be all powerful yet sin seemed to be beyond his control..."
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Wrong. It is not beyond His control. He's give everyone a free will to do as they wish. Sure, He can go against our will....He can do anything. But, rather, He chooses not to. Don't confuse "won't" with "can't"

    "Gibbons, no Christian would celebrate not allowing children to have married parents."

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    No Christian would celebrate allowing children to have parents not only living in sin, but promoting that sin.
    David and Jonathon were not gay. I have to laugh every time I hear an ignorant homosexual use that lame argument. Both were married to women, and David had an affair with a woman. LOL. Please stop insulting your own intelligence with that argument.
    Well, actually it's not that odd. The ploy of many sinners trying to justify their sin is to say that God told them it was okay. It eases their conscience. Unfortunately, only until judgement day.
    I think it's odd that homosexual man continues to live in sin, and claims that he "hears the Holy Spirit", and it tells him it's "okay" to live in sin.
    Just because you hear things, doesn't mean it's God. If it doesn't line up with the Word of God, then rest assured that it's not Him.
    The right to free speech is an American right, not shared by many other countries. The UN is an international group that deals with international laws, which, unfortunately, often supercede local laws. Meaning, that even though we have the right to free speech, if this international law passes, our free speech won't be so "free".
  • Protestants, Catholics Celebrate 10 Years of Consensus on Salvation
    I wonder if this "rancorous attitude on this blog is because they are former (lapsed) Catholics who have to keep justifying their leaving the faith of their upbringing." or because the catholics know we speak the truth, but can't admit it either because their catholic pride won't let them, or they don't have the guts to because they're afraid their catholic family and friends won't want to play with them anymore. Or both.
    "How in the world could someone believe that HOMOSEXUALITY IS A SIN, when Yahshua could be a homosexual by certain verses in the Bible?"
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    I guess when you twist a pervert the Scriptures, just about any abomination is justifiable. Unfortunately, though they may justify homosexuality to themselves and other misled "Christians", they're not going to dupe God.
