When commenting, please address these questions:

    1. Is the Israel Museum wrong that First Century Christians practiced baptism by immersion by the father of the family?

    2. Is the Israel Museum wrong that local church leaders were a lay ministry?

    3. Is Clement of Jerusalem wrong that Jewish temple ordinances were practiced by Christians until 350 A.D.?

    4. Is Dr. Bart Ehrman wrong that the Nicene Creed was based on faulty translations from the earliest Greek New Testament writings?

    5. Was St. Athanasius of Alexandria (Eastern Orthodox) wrong, regarding theosis, when he wrote, "The Son of God became man, that we might become God. "

    6. Did Early Christians believe in an embodied God; was it neo-Platonist influences that later turned Him into a disembodied Spirit?

    7. Do you have proof that the Cross was used as a common Christian symbol prior to the Fifth Century?

How could Joseph Smith, an ill-educated farm boy, know these elements of the First Century Christian Church?

    Turning to modern-day Mormons,

    1. Was George Barna's poll wrong when he found that twice as many Mormons as mainstream Catholics and Protestants believe that Jesus Christ is divine?

    2. Have you found a dictionary with the primary definition of a Christian other than “of, pertaining to, believing in, or belonging to a religion based on the teachings of Jesus Christ”?

    3. Have you found a poll that found that Evangelical children display Christian characteristics more frequently then Mormon children?

And do you dispute that Roger Williams and Martin Luther both wrote that Christ's true church wouldn't be found by Reformation, but rather by Restoration by revelation?

I look forward to your comments.

The Church of Jesus Christ (LDS) is often accused by Evangelical pastors of not believing in Christ and, therefore, not being a Christian religion. This article http://mormonsarechristian.blogspot.com/ helps to clarify such misconceptions by examining early Christianity's comprehension of baptism, the Godhead, the deity of Jesus Christ and His Atonement.

The Church of Jesus Christ (LDS) adheres more closely to First Century Christianity and the New Testament than any other denomination. Harper’s Bible Dictionary entry on the Trinity says “the formal doctrine of the Trinity as it was defined by the great church councils of the fourth and fifth centuries is not to be found in the New Testament.”

Perhaps the reason the pastors denigrate the Church of Jesus Christ (LDS) is to protect their flock (and their livelihood). It is encouraging that Paul Weyrich, Wayne Grudem and Bob Jones III, (along with Jay Sekulow and Mark DeMoss) have rejected bigotry and now support Mitt Romney on the basis that he is the most moral candidate with the best qualifications.

The dictionary definition of a Christian is “of, pertaining to, believing in, or belonging to a religion based on the teachings of Jesus Christ”: Catholics, Protestants, and Mormons are all followers of Christ, and consider him divine, and the Messiah foretold in the Old Testament. They all worship the one and only true God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and address Him in prayer as prescribed in The Lord’s Prayer.

Mitt’s church, the Church of Jesus Christ (LDS) has been often misunderstood by Evangelical preachers in the past . . Some accused the Church of not believing in Christ and, therefore, not being a Christian religion . .

http://MormonsAreChristian.blogspot.com/ helps to clarify such misconceptions by examining early (First Century) Christianity's theology relating to baptism, the Godhead, the deity of Jesus Christ and His Atonement. Mitt’s church believes in the Jesus of the New Testament, who prayed to His Father in Heaven in the Garden of Gethsemane, not the Jesus portrayed in the creeds of the 4th Century.

The Church of Jesus Christ (LDS) adheres to Early Christian (New Testament) theology more closely than other Christian denominations. . Perhaps the reason Evangelical preachers such as Dr Jeffress of Dallas promote this mis-representation is to protect their flock (and their livlihood). It is encouraging to note that Evangelical preachers such as Bob Jones III (along with Jay Sekulow and Mark DeMoss) have dis-avowed bigotry and appear now to have a moral and competent president as a priority..

    Truth and Justice:

Did you read http://mormonsarechristian.blogspot.com/ ? The archaeological indications are:

    Baptism by immersion
Baptism by the father of the family
    A lay ministry
Belief in the original Greek New Testament texts which do not support a Trinitarian diety, but rather three separate personages: God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

Furthermore, does your church have a cross (5th Century)? Do you emphasize only faith and not works? The New Testament says both are required to progress in the next life. It is true that only faith is necessary, if you want to exist in the next life as a "ministering angel".

Is your church headed by 12 Apostles, who claim authority from Jesus Christ?
