One can accept the Bible’s condemnation of homosexual activity (men having sex with men) while believing that the condemnation does not apply today. This is because it is based on the ancient cultural idea that a man should not be receptive like a woman in sex. The condemnation is therefore restricted to people of the ancient biblical cultures and does not apply now (just like the Bible’s cultural acceptance of slavery does not apply now).less
