  • Obama-Wright Rift Reveals Divided Loyalties in Black Church

This conflict would not be happening now if Rev. Wright and all ministers would stick to teaching of what is in the Bible and not speaking of things that should rightly be discussed outside of the confines of the church. Politics are a personal matter and are a lightning rod for sometimes offense remarks that can cause dissension and discord amongst the congregation.

  • Methodists Reject Changes to Gay Stance, Oppose Homophobia

Christ did not need to speak of homosexuality as God gave His law on it in Leviticus 18:22. Homosexuals I'm sure, are permitted to attend the church as is anyone, but the "marriage" of homosexuals is what I believe was the subject which was discussed and voted on. When Christ met the woman at the well in Samaria, He convicted her of her sins by laying open what was known by all who knew her. When those churches appove of allowing those things which are pronounced as sins to be committed in the churches just to be politically corrected God will make His judgment on them.

I see that my remarks were misconstrued. There are many churches that do not have the funds for this technology and should they attempt "to catch up with the Jones'", it could possibly cause economic hardship for itself in the long run.

It's simple. God directed actions in the Old Testament to build a nation whereby the Saviour would enter the world. Suffering is a way for Christians to become stronger in their faith. Like iron and carbon being fired and beaten to make steel, suffering does the same for Christians.

What I see of these tel"evangelists" is they are more in love with self and money than loving people and God.

In the past, churches did not have the technologies that are being espoused today. All that was and is needed is a minister that preaches what the Bible says. Nothing else is needed.

There is no almost sin, it is sin or it is not. Homosexuality, fornication, stealing and lying are among other sins in the Bible. Liberals like to paint Christians as homophobic, as calling us this will weaken our stand for what God has had placed in the hearts of the writers of the Bible.
