Happens all the time. A couple has no birth control, doesn't discuss it because they are being abstinent. Then one night without planning, discussion or opportunity to get birth control they have sex. A lot of kids think planning to have sex is wrong but if it just "happen's" they aren't as responsible.

The fear of gays feeds into the anxiety of those who will follow authority into more and more bizarre acts of hatred because they fear change. They reject salvation for the security of their fearful dogma.

Religious conservative tend to give greatest weight to obedience to authority. While claiming that the authority is God, they frequently substitute the authority of which ever preacher they follow.
