Yes they mean that people reading the Bible sought words to express their theological understanding. Since the Bible did not contain words exactly expressing their belief, they developed words such as trinity and rapture to express how they understood the Bible. This was done by many groups in the first three centuries AD then the others were suppressed to a great degree and declared heretics.

"After Jesus failed to return in 1000, some mystics pushed the date of the End to the thousandth anniversary of the Crucifixion. The writings of the Burgundian monk Radulfus Glaber described a rash of millennial paranoia during the period from 1000-1033." (Kyle p.39, Abanes p.337, McIver #50)

Maybe they will run Al Mohler's article on the Virgin Lips movement. (no kissing until you get to the altar). Mohler wrote quoting a newspaper article but made it seem like a lot of people were involved. Reading the actual article it is clearly a handful spoken of by one youth minister over a period of years.

Ruth identifies herself and spends the night “at his feet.”less

Apparently SBellam, the censors here want to prohibit even the mention of masturbation. I am assuming they actually know what it is since of course they would never pleasure themselves since it does not result in procreation.
