  • Presbyterian Panel Acquits Gay Minister

The Presbyterian USA is on the cusp of following Jesus commandment to love thy neighbbor as thyself. And note Jesus didn't say love thy str8 neighbor..., or say refuse to treats the gay neighbor equally under our laws. The PC USA will soon join about a dozen recognized religion in granting marriage "rites" to gay people. Its as simple as that.

  • Christians Need to Prepare for Normalization of Gay Marriage

I'm really amazed, but thrilled at Dr. Mohlers comment. Not because he supports gay marriage, but that he realizes the inevitability of it, and in a sense is accepting, as all christians should be. Not everyone is the same. Not everyone is the same. Virtually alll of medical science except some "splinter groups" say that gay is a built in emotion from birth or very early childhood or a mix of the two.

And as christians we should be supporting anything that helps to end the horrendous loss of life - about 1500 to 3000 gay kids alone committing suicide every year because "gay" is seen by some in our society as so terrible.

And I predict that good and real christians for the most part , as they discover that people they know and respect are gay, will come to figure out that God loves all, love the sinner - hate the sin often morphs in so many minds to "hate the sinner which is anything but what Jesus told us in his second commandment.

The road may be long, but in the end, perhaps as many as 10% of the people will be recognized as being gay, and accepted in our society as normal, just different people. But so similar to all of us except in one regards.

And we'll join almost all of the westernized world in giving gay people the respect they deserve, be it called marriage or a similar institutionless
