The Pope is correct in what he states. No one asks the question, where is the true church of Jesus Christ? Is it in the 10's of thousands of denominations that don't agree with each other and continue to break into other groups? Christ died for His Church! To deny that the Catholic Church is the true Church founded by Jesus Christ, would be to deny Christ Himself! The Pope is not bragging because is it not something that he or any Catholic has done to make it so, it is Christ. Only in Him do we boast! The Catholic Church is the Body of Christ, we are just members as long we as we remain faithful to Him and His Church. Just as in the Old Testement God appointed someone to watch over His people so he does so now. And in the Old Testement the Kings Mother was next to the King! So it is with Mary, Our Blessed and Holy Immaculate Mother! She is your mother too, if you turn to her!
