    Hey feet,
I see you are still trying to justify the sin of homosexuality by perverting the scriptures. I would have thought you would have matured beyond that by now. But since you are quoting Romans don';t forget the scripture, " Do we continue to sin so that grace may abound? Certainly not." Romans 6:1
You would do well to get real, admit that homosexuality is as much a sin after salvation as it is before and grow up. Our works is repentance. It is not that we have to do something, it is that we must stop doing certain things. Repentance is an action word.

"There is only our natural world. Religion is but myth and superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds."

Picture in your minds standing before both of these displays. Look very closely at each and then tell me which one conveys the message of hope. Once again religion has been attacked. And we Christians know who our enemy is.

    cowboyfan88,
The cross alone cannot save anyone. The events that took place at the cross in the sacrifice jesus Christ made on our behalf is the offer of salvation. We must believe in our hearts as Romans 10:9 states.... If thou will confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and Believe in THINE HEART that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Simply believing is not enough as the demons believed and trembled. We must believe in our heart. 1:John states But to as many as RECEIVED HIM gave He the power to become the sons of God even to those who believed ON HIS name. When you make a stand ON the name of Jesus you make the statement that you are one of His. Is Mr. Graham's statement of asking Jesus into your heart biblical? Yes it is. Not verbatum in those words but condensing the scriptures for the purpose of the message of the truth of salvation it is absolutely on target. It takes faith in Jesus Christ to be saved not the cross. The cross is where salvation became available not salvation itself.

    cowboyfan 88,
you would do well to follow Christ's example in that when He Himself said, "I did not come to do away with the law but to fulfill it." Christians adhere to the law because we are saved by grace, not to obtain salvation throught the law as it cannot be done apart from grace. This is sound doctrine.

    This woman should be fired.

Well if this principle is correct then on the other side if a homosexual speaks out about their lifestyle and is not protected from the consequences of their expressing themselves then according to Biblical standards they should be stoned to death.

    merkin,
In your post to timothy brown you have just explained the power of deception. Take the counterfeit dollar for example, it is so close to the actual dollar it is almost impossible to tell the difference. The theory is that it is the real thing as for all practical purposes it has been presented as the real thing. In reality though it is a fake, an alternative to the original. Changing the meaning of words to support a claim shows in and of itself the claim is false or the original meaning of the word would not have to changed. Satan created this kind of doubt in the garden when he challenged Eve with "surely God didn't say..." in other words Satan ways saying surely that is not what God meant when He said... Yes you have just shown us the power of deception,,, Thanks.

    Charlie Matthis,
Here is some food for thought for you.
Christians believe that one must be born again to enter the kingdom of heaven, seeking forgiveness of sin repenting of a sinful lifestyle, which includes unbelief, and asking Jesus Christ to be Lord and Savior, and committing themselves to living a godly lifestyle the best they can. Christians believe that when one dies they will go either to heaven or hell depending on the choice they made during their life to accept Christ as their savior by "faith" not evidence, or not to accept Christ. Most atheists I know hold the idea that when life is over it is over, you just make the best for yourself while they are here. Holding to this concept for Christians, if the atheistic idea is correct then we, as Christians have nothing to loose as we have only lived our lives under an illusion but we have lost nothing. However, if the Christian idea is true and as you stated would be proven wrong in atheistic beliefs whatever they are, then eternal hell awaits you as on the Day of Judgment when unbelievers or non-believers are proven wrong it will be too late to repent. Therefore, I ask you, given the two choices you might want to seriously re-consider your choices. There are 2 Bible verses that addresses our thinking in this area.
Proverbs 3:5,6 - 5Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 6In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 14:12 12There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

I know that since you have an open mind that you will consider this, as it is by faith that we believe because if we had all understanding there would be no need for faith.

The best thing that can happen with this Rev Wright issue is to have the African American community to step forward and above the comments Wright is makiking. Wright continues to drag the past into the present and refuses to go beyond that point. We are overcoming the issues of the past and continuing to drag the past into the present that creates a division is not the answer. Sure racism needs to be dealt with but there is no solution in condemnation. If Wright wants to live in the past that is his choice but we have come a long way since then and he needs to be left in the past. When the African American community steps up and denounces his comments is a sign that we are leaving the past behind and reaching forward to those things that are ahead.
Wright, stop whining and grow up.

15"Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
16"You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?

17"So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.
18"A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.

19"Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

20"So then, you will know them by their fruits.

Not under law but under grace? Romans 6:1-2 (King James Version)
    Romans 6
1What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

2God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Continuance in sin is not being dead to it.
