Barna is hardly the dispassionate researcher on this topic. He's been actively promoting "alternate" forms of worship for a while now.

"For decades, U.S. Christians, who make up more than four out of every five adults, assumed there was only one right way to practice their faith – through worship in a conventional church."

"For decades"? As if this was an aberration. The current entropy is the aberration.

  • Historic Reformed Church Merger Unites 80 Million Christians

"WARC is a worldwide fellowship of 75 million Reformed Christians in 214 churches in 107 countries. REC represents 12 million Reformed Christians in 39 churches in 25 countries. Twenty-seven of REC’s churches are also WARC members."

By "churches", does this article actually mean "denominations"? If not, there are some Reformed megachurches lurking out there that dwarf Osteen's church. Over 350,000 members/"church" in WARC!

"As a result, all humans deserve respect regardless of what they do and believe."

I doubt that a single one of them (on either side) truly believes this statement.

    million,

Ron Paul's opposition to the war on terror is worthy of an honorable debate, but his willingness to publicly entertain conspiracy theories regarding 9/11 are quickly marginalizing him as a kook.

This article seriously misrepresents the situation. 23% is far from a "majority" (as the article calls it). It is not at all unusual for this much of the electorate to be undecided this far ahead of the election. I'd be willing to bet money that the undecided percentage will be significantly lower by late fall.

Then again, the current undecided percentage may not even be 23%, since that number includes those who "will not" say who they're supporting. In other words, a fair portion of that 23% may be "None of your business" rather than "I don't know".
