Jesus spoke to me: He told me to tell all of you to love one another as He first loved you. Stop the bickering and pointless debate. Feed your spirit. Be Other-righteous not self-righteous, be Other-centered, not self-centered.

What is the harm in a legitimate tool to further God's word to those who haven't heard the Good News?! The NIV is a respected translation of the Bible. I think you all need to get lives for your knee-jerk reactions surrounding this topic. The Good Shepherd will leave the 99 to seek out and bring home the 1 lost sheep. If this publication brings in even one new believer to the priesthood of all believers we should all rejoice for the good work done in the Kingdom!

  • Anglican Head Emphasizes Love for Creation in Christmas Sermon

RBB: you are ignorant of much of church history and even more so the Anglican church. There is no idol worship involved. Also if the church hadn't reached out to Greek and Roman pagans many centuries ago Christianity would not have evolved into a major world faith. Regardless what you think of the Catholic church or Anglican church they are responsible for more growth over the ages than other denomination. That is a fact. You need to conduct further research on the meaning of these images before making sweeping critical comments about something you have no grasp of. My heart "breaks" when I think we might not have an earth left in which to worship if we don't start changing our ways and the opinions especially those of uneducated, paranoid, and narrow minded individuals in all faiths and beliefs.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven (Lk 6:37-38). Curious BOC560 since you are making such a sweeping an unqualified judgment on my church what your affiliation is? How dare you say they don't represent Jesus.

  • U.K. Christian Students, Faculty Forced to Don Muslim Garbs

Sooooo at Christmas perhaps the Muslim staffmembers could partake of the traditional ham with all the trimmings? Just as absurd as asking Christians to don the Muslin manner of dress and celebrate Eid. You are welcome to come to our country but ADAPT but don't IMPOSE your post Chrisitian heretical belief system on a Judeo-Christian majority. No one should be forced to participate in something contrary to their own religious beliefs.

Hmmmmm. The only thing I agree with the Trustees in their above statment is THE WORLD IS WATCHING. Gee, if you really want to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and you agree that that message is LOVE then you must stop excluding and start including our male and female brethren, the churched and the unchurched, seeing and loving people as Jesus Christ first loved us. Thats what my bible teaches me. Homemaking classes?? Are you serious?

  • Ann Coulter: Christians are 'Perfected' Jews

Ms. Coulter cannot (apparently) dislodge her foot from its perpetual place in her big mouth. A fitting location for this appendage: it can (mercifully) silence her from further hateful, uneducated and compulsive remarks. I recommend to everyone to read "In defense of Israel" the new book by Pastor John Hagee. He is an expert on Judaica and why ALL Christians must support the state of Israel. Ms. Coulter's defamatory remarks make it as Pastor Hagee states in his book, "1938 all over again" Why? Nazis and Adolph Hitler: enough said.

  • Mel Gibson Named 'Most Powerful Christian' in Hollywood

I have enjoyed Mel Gibson's past accomplisments as an actor and director. Having said that I am somewhat saddened that other worthwhile individuals weren't acknowledged like KIrk Cameron mentioned above. Mr. Gibson if you recall went into a drunken anti-semitic tirade while carousing with two young women in the not so distant past. I pray that God has healed him of this behavior and that he can/will now Glorify God professionally AND personally.
