yet the only evidence we have of them is verbal from witnesses? It is an uncontrolled state of mind that comes up with stuff that does not exist and not all of it is based on our experiences (i.e abstract art, creativity, etc.) The dreams/imagination of a person is a Godlike Characteristic that allows one to have a vision of something before it happens, which is the same way that God operates...science is actually a friend of the Bible if you have been taught well about the Bible. The main thing that pushed me into agnosticsm was hyper religiuos people who did not know the word of God well enough to answer my questions...which part of the reason is why the 2% of the population of orthodox atheists are so adamant about the "no god" theory.

the absence of evidence does dot substansiate the absence of the existence of God...it is man that tries to measure things from a quantitative research point of view to prove that an assumption is valid. Actually the existence of God is a Qualitiative yet internal relization based on several samples of data which are peoples testimony...If I were to do a PHD level paper based on evidence using case studies for the power and existence of God versus the latter the latter inallactuality would not be able to handle the rigors of research based on sheer numbers alone 98% of the world has an innate feeling that there is more to this world that the 5 senses. I think that Ill go with the 98%.

Citizen: what is your thought on dreams and imaginations being that no one has seen mine or yours with the "five senses"?

Very Good post.very well spoken...You cant worship God with your five senses. Atheist thinking is completely sensual. I have no problem with atheists questioning the existing of God...It is just hard for me to belive their evidence that there is not one when there are so many illigical things that happen to people that in all proability should not...like miracles...I wonder if atheism is dominated by males...we tendto be very (psycho-crazy)logical and try to reason everything...I beleive that at this day and age all Christians especially those in the pulpit must have a grasp of the Gospel like never before and also GO TO SCHOOL/SEMINARY to learn about the common views like relativism and so forth...people are very educated today and the "just have faith" tradition/religious environment is not working...which is what pushed my away from God inthe first place...not because I did nto believe that there was one...but becasue the church I came from did not TRULY educate its congergation properly...especially people like me who have a tendency to challenge things regularly...once I got into a chuch that provided answers that were all in the scripture and also reading books like josh mcdowells ready defense...that turned me around...and then I read the Bible differently and INTERNALLY i began to change and get even closer to God though Jesus Christ.

question for the atheist...can an atheist thrive in anarchy?

I love science as a former agnostic...and I truly believe that the futher science goes the closer they will realize that this wor/universe is not a coincidence...

last thought I have never seen another persons dream...yet there are "witnesses of the phenomena" Imagination or visualising something that does not exist into existence such as a movie or even having children are preconceived...that is a Godlike characteristic...otherwise ther would be no use for imagination it is illogical to have one or is it?

merkin the truth is that God is the embodiment of love which is totally illogical...If I could think my way out of everything and every situation then there could be an argument..unfortunatley that would exclude the masses who may not have as much brain power as yo or I do...most people dont think thei way out of everything. Some atheists hae a false sense of intellectual superiority and pride which is prevalent among that type of thinking...I still want to know from any atheist in the house what are your answers to my questions?

God, like my earlier post above is illogical to anyone who does not have an intimate relationship with God. The Christian scientist wants to know how and why...the scientist is limited by how...I know how I got here on this earth but why am I/you here?

    Id like some answers please...

Ahhh the classic if there is a God Debate...we can start from the second law of thermodynamics or there is absolutely no concrete proff that God does not exist...hmmm well...lets try this instead of defensive posture how about an offensive posture...The Bible Illustrates two courses for human existence. One that Goes toward the Tree of life which is symbolic for the intimate connection with God and the other is the tree of the Knowledge of Goog and Evil which is the root (no pun intented) of humanism, relativism, and Atheism...or inother words My mind is my God...

If I were a nonbeliever but i was on the cusp to believe or not ...what would the Atheist have to offer me beyond the 5 senses?
    Why do we exist?
What is the meaning of human life?
What empirical evidence do you have to prove that there is no life after death?
What is the standard for morality in a purely atheistic world?
What is the foundation of right and wrong in the atheist world?
What is your evidence of the foundation of the world?

I would like those answers first as an atheism skeptic...although I am being humorous...I have a problem with individuals who's knowledge base is from a finite source (the mind)...but seriously, the spirit of atheism is nothing more than a type of thought process that seeks to logically deduce their existence to meaningful nothingness...to long have ther been debate on the "Validity of God" from a defensive posture...knowing that you cant worhsip God with your five senses...so it is not fair to convince someone who is defined by those senses to convert...conversion does come by external stimuli but internal....being an atheist does nto bother me ...they have some cool ideas...what worries me is those that have felt the power of God and have drifted into an apostic state...there is no debate at that point...shake off the dust from your feet and keep moving...

once again there is no proof other than verbal that dreams exist....REM is external evidence not internal evidence, why cant we see other peoples dreams....the poit of my debate is to pose questions to challenge atheism and unfortunately if they were to answer those questions there qould be no consensus on the answer...which by definition is not measurable evidence.. :)
