  • Federal Judge Prohibits School Vote on Graduation Prayers

You can take all public authorization of the acknowledgement of God away, but you can not stop people from praying! What would happen if the entire student body all stood up together and recited the "Lord's Prayer" together at the graduation? They couldn't arrest everyone or refuse to give them their diplomas! Our high school band did this in what was Madeline O'Hare's hometown before a football game in 2000, along with a majority of the people in the football stadium. We all took the time to go out onto the field and hold hands while we prayed. Believers need to strike back at rampant atheism by public affirmation of the Christian priniples that our country was founded upon! In the next life if you have denied Jesus He will deny you!

  • Study: Behaviors Americans Consider 'Sinful'

Romans 3:23 says: "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and are Justified (just as if you had never sinned) freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." If you are a believer that Jesus is the only Son of God and was sent here to take your place on the cross, and admit that you are a sinner, then you are saved from your sins. After that, it is your responsibility to walk in the path that Jesus walked and reject sin whenever it comes knocking on your door.

Here are some suggestions to make your days go better.
    1. Forgive a different person each day who hurt you in your past, and say a prayer for someone who has just acted crazy near you on the highway.
    2. Help someone financially with small gifts or larger tips.
    3. Smile at other people and watch some of them smile back.
    4. When people ask " how are you doing today", say "I'm blessed".
    5. Listen to Christian music while you drive.
    6. Show people that you are different by the way you live.
    7. Hold a door open for someone else.
    8. Visit friends who are lonely, poor, sick and old on a regular basis.
    9. Try to be like Jesus even though you can't be perfect.

  • Pastor Poses Sex Challenge to Churchgoers

I have a challenge for you. See if you can beat this! I have never had a sexual relationship outside of my 21 year marriage. I have been divorced for almost 12 years and have not dated anyone since then. I have prayed that God would keep all women away from me except for the one that He would have for me to be my wife. I have promised to wait for one girl as long as it takes for her to become ready to spend her life with me. I am hoping it will come to pass soon as I am very lonely, but God can see me through this time of preparation. I believe He wants me to learn to trust Him. Every time I have waited for something He has come through with more than I asked for. God bless you all! Jesus is faithful and true to those who love Him!

  • Ex-'Greedy' Businessman: Bible Serves as Finance Manual

I agree with your teachings. A few years ago I started increasing my giving, then began to tithe . Last year I was able to pay my loans down $6000, tithe $4000, put $5000 into needed repairs on my 310,000 mile 14 year old car, buy a beautiful trailer to live in, and now I have a brand new truck with "special" random plates issued from the state I live in...77JBJ7...which to me stands for "JUST BE JOYFUL" and "JUST TRUST JESUS". I also have an amazing piece of land where I will build a chapel where I will have song services and take NO donations. I have managed all of this on a take home pay of only $32,000! Yes I give MORE than 10% tithe, as God deserves a "tip" for all He's done for me! My pastor tells us to give our tithe to ANYONE who we come upon that needs it, as it is GOD'S money and HE will use it as HE wills it to be used. I have various active ministries, and God is blessing me in everything because I am trying to live the life that Jesus wants me to live. Pray about your finances and He will give you the wisdom to have success.
