The truth gang, is we are living in the best of times right now. It doesn't matter what anyone bans, or what the government does, cause we are living in the End Times. I can see the pages of Revelation coming into play everyday I read the newspaper or watch the news. Christ is coming soon, and we will see it in our lifetime!

You know Pvlman, there are christians in name only, and then there are true Christians who read the Bible word for word and believe. We don't need to read any other book, there is ONLY ONE BOOK that matters to us, and we follow it faithfully. Remember, anyone can say they are a Christian, but very few can live up to it. What can you expect when our own president is a christian in name only, and stands for all things Christians are against!

All I can say is, time is short, and if people don't wake up to the fact that we are heading to the end of times, and that Jesus is THE ONLY WAY, there is not much that can be done. All, even the ones who say there is no God will still have to stand before Him whether they believe in Him or not. The road to hell is wide, and I can see why!

It's amazing how much Christians are being persecuted, even in the USA! I know it happens alot overseas, but happens here also. Our persecuation started out suttle in the USA, but now is growing.........first it is atheists taking prayer from our schools, crosses from cemetaries, The Ten Comandments out of the judical building.....then escalated into immorality in our churches, same sex marriages, gay clergy, etc. The USA I knew and loved is becoming a trash bin, but we have no one to blame but ourselves. Just when did God, and His Son become the enemy?

Sorry comouter shut down in the middle of my post! So what the pope needs to understand is, christians will do what they need to do, and help where people need help, not because he asked, but because we follow Christ's example as Christians saved by grace through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I was insulted by his recent document, but I don't dislike him, I just don't recognize him as any authority figure in my life. What I do, I do for the Love of God, and His Son. I do however, agree with dgnymn. It seems kind of ironic that a large, wealthy Roman Catholic Church, and largest leader of false doctrine would ask for money from these small, insignificate, defective christian churches...........he should let us know how much his church is putting towards this effort, so we can match it!

Since the pope's document came out that the Protestant churches are deffective, and we are not true churches who will not have salvation, because we are not catholic, he must be addressing all catholics. Because I know Christians will not listen to his voice, so I guess he's on his own.............

She must have either been a new christian, or not strong in her faith! Jesus always told people take up your cross and follow me. What did people think he meant? He even told His disciples, you will be arrested, beaten, and killed in my name. Anyone who is a faithful christian, even in the face of death, should not be pushed in to denouncing Jesus as their Savior. I would not have bowed down or denied Christ, so I probably would die, but Jesus said if you are ashamed of Me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father. He also said that anyone who tries to save his life will lose it. If this woman had known the Bible, and Jesus's promise of eternal life, maybe she would have acted different. Anyway, I was very disappointed and ashamed of her.
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
