II don’t see what the problem is about having a class on the bible. The class should be on a volunteer basic and not a forced basis or a required subject. (In other words if a student didn’t want to take the course they wouldn’t be forced to). Then make sure then instructor that the course as set down don’t try and force her/his beliefs on the students in other words no type of religious faith would be taught in the class.

I would love to attend a class on the bible because I believe it would be very interesting.

I just hope that the American people will get out and vote in this election, but I would bet that there will be a low voter turn out, because most of them don’t care who is in office, or they are tired of all the garbage they are hearing now and will say my vote will not matter. Well, people here is a new flash for you one day when you are not longer free I want you to remember that.

I know my vote may not go the way I vote, because the stupid electoral collage will vote as they want too, no matter how the voters vote. So it just a dog and pony show in the long run.

I just hope the people will vote the way they want to not the way some religious leader or brain dead fool tell them too.

When are the political people and preachers going to learn to keep their mouths shut when it come to same sex marriage, the homosexual debate all they are going is adding fuel to a problem that I don’t think will ever be solved in anyone’s life time.

What Mr. Huckabee and other like him should do is try to get an amendment to the consultation saying they can kill or do away with all people who don’t think, act or go along with what they say. If this happens then this is going to be one sorry place to live in then that is for sure.

IN GOD WE TRUST, How many of you people believe in that saying with 100% of your heart?

I know what I’m going to write will not set well with a lot of the people who reads this, but some where and some how all this has got to stop before it come to brother against brother, sister against sister, so forth and so on (I’m talking about another civil war in this country, religion against religion. It up to you, Make it work or go to war.

Keeping government and religion separate is the problem in this country and will be it down fall unless things changes. Let’s take the school system to start off with: The public school system is operated either by the city, county or state government funded by taxes raised by the governments, so in reality they are run by the government. (Now up until let say about 40 years ago no one said anything, but then along came someone to question this and it went from bad to worse. So the courts stepped and set down some rules that they thought would stop all of the fussing, but it only added to the confusion. So in reality if the schools are under the control of the city, country or state government then government and religion don’t mix. But the people thought they could press the issue and I think it just made matters worse.

Now the other big problem is other people beliefs or faith, as long as we are a melting pot of various ethnic groups whose customs, traditions and beliefs are different then ours. Then we are going to have to come up with a way of living in the same country together or go to war and kill everyone who doesn’t believe like we do, I don’t think that is Gods plan for us as we are not the Hebrews coming out of bondage into the promise land.

The courts are going to have to start handing down rulings that is just and fair so that the separation of religion and government means just that, even if does ruffles the feathers of some people.

The ball is on the court. Now how you pick it up and play with is going to make or break this country

I don’t care if has a degree in timber cutting if he get the nomination for president and I think he is the best person for the job I will vote for him, then again if I don’t think he the best person for the job I will not vote for him. There is one thing for sure I’m going to vote even if I have to write my name on the ballot, because I live in a country where I can vote for whom ever I please and until they take that right away from me I going to vote.

I know there is a lot of brain dead Americans who will not vote because they are too lazy to vote or are not signed up to vote. Or they will vote like some fool tells them too, because they can’t think for them selves. These are the people I feel sorry for. This is the group who will gripe to high heaven when things go wrong that is when I will tell them to shut you don’t have the right to grip because you didn’t vote.

I will bet you a root beer that not more then 50% of people will vote next November, and I would be happy to loose that bet

I have received many e mails requesting that I not see this movie. I have see clips of it on TV. I like a move with good animation in it and this looks like one. (It not every day that I can see a polar bear talk or fly). Right now I plan on seeing the move and then I will decide if anti God, but I really don’t care about the dialog of the move, just the animation

The church I go to have a photo directory, but you have to be a member of the church to get your picture put in it. I know homosexually is a sin is a sin, from what I read the couple has been coming to the church for a while and not on has raised any hell about so why now if they have been living with it. They can throw them out of the church. Refuse to let then attend services there or they can kill them. Now these so call good Christians have a choice on what they want to do. The one think they can do is cancel the photo directory all together

The ACLU has done some good things I have been told, but I think they should step back and talk a look at the bad thing they are doing to this great country of ours.

I wonder if we could collect enough money to send all ACLU to Iran, North Korea and a few other countries I could thank of where things are not like they are here. I would like to see how long they would last when they started with their, you can’t do this and you can’t do that.

I would like some to do a survey to fine out how many ACLU people go to church and how many don’t. Then print their names all over the interned, in new papers and on TV.
I wonder what they would say to that.

I feel sorry for the people who are lead around by their nose by their preachers, and other people who votes for people because of their faith.

If Mr. Romney is the best candidate for the job I will vote for him and not worry about his Mormon faith, because I not voting for because of his religious belief I voting for him because he will be the best person for the job.

If you don’t vote for the person best suited for the job then I feel sorry for you brain dead people. You might awake up one morning and find your country under the control of the people we are fighting in the Middle East right now.

The only problem I might have with these candidates who talk about their faith and religion (that is if they mean it) do they have what it takes to make a hard decision (if it came down to the wire to drop a nuke on some to save this country or put men/women in harms way). Could they make a choice like that with out going into a fit or something.

I believe religion has it place but I don’t want some in office who talks a good show, but will not be able to do what it takes to take care of this country

When did this all change from “marry Christmas” to “Happy Holiday”?
I can say either one because to Christmas has gotten away from what it was in years past. Today Christmas is so commercial that it seems just like another day to me. I can be happy with either one of them. If we keep auguring about them both of the statements will disappear and we will not have any thing to call it in the further. So if we keep on fighting about the one to use we will have to find something else to call it so why not say “Happy birthday Jesus”

Easter is another religious holiday that is not even found in the bible with the death of Christ or his resurrection from the grave. The only time Easter is found in the bible has something to do with Peter being brought before some judge in Rome. I celebrate both of them because the church where I go does it.

I don’t vote for a person because of his/her religious belief, the reason I vote for them is for what I think they can do my country and it people. I didn’t vote for either of the two main party candidates in the last two elections because I didn’t believe he would be good for this country and I think I made the correct choice.

I sure was not going to run out and join the church the president Bush belongs too that is for sure.

I want you to see what Eisenhower belief was when he ran for office. I think you might be surprised when you find out I was that is if the history I read was correct.

The one we have in office now said God talk to him, but he must have forgot the line about not telling the truth and all that. Come on give me a break.

I know there are people out there would vote for a mule if their pastor or one of the big names on TV told them too. That is not what elections are all about you vote for the person who you think will do the best job while in office. Right now in my mind they are all still out to lunch.

I don’t always agree with Ms Coulter, but the one good thing about this country we still have free speech and freedom to practice what ever religion faith we care too. Now when all that stops neither you or I will have the privilege of saying any thing against anyone about what they say because we will be told what to say and what religion to believe in.

Being a Christian or belong to the correct or right church will not you or I you to the place you want to go.
What will get you to the place you want to go when you die or this world ends is your belief and faith in GOD. That is what it’s all about no ifs, and, or but.

I listen to Mr. Hagee and some of the other big names on TV there are things they say that I don’t buy into, but that is me. People can believe what they want to that is their right. Our hope is that when the time come our faith and trust in his word will get us to heaven. With all that said I history for now.

I glad that they can go this, but I fear some teachers and instructors will over step their teaching positions and start preaching that their faith is the one and only way. I don’t think this was what this course what meant to teach. I know it hard to teach a religious course the way it supposed to be taught. We will just have to wait and see how it works out. I wish then all the luck with it.

What I going to write may make a lot of the good Christians angry but here goes.
First I don’t think we need an amendment about marriages being between a man and a woman. The reason I say this is the federal government has to much control over our lives all ready. It should be left up to each state on how they address this issue.

The more religion gets into government the worse things can get. Just remember keep on and one day you will awake to find that the government has decided to make a certain religion the religion of this country and it may not be the one you like.
Here is another thought keep on with all this griping, petty stuff, fighting among our selves on which religion is best and so on, and again you might awake to find a religion that you really don’t want is taken over the country, Then we will have a religious war on our hand like they have in the middle east except it will be in the streets of home town USA not some foreign town called Baghdad or elephant ear Iraq.

A person religion will not get him/her to heaven it is his faith in Jesus Christ that will get him/her to where they want to go.

I voting for the person and what he/she can do for this country and it people not the religion they belong to. That is what is wrong with this country in a lot of ways they put to much faith into what religion a person is. As I said about religion is not going to get you to the place in the sky, so let get off this religion kick and get down the part about where it come to “fish or cut bait” if you don’t know what this means ask some one.

We don’t elect the person who runs for president in the first place the electoral collage does. So if you vote the Baptist person by popular vote the electoral collage may put a Jewish person.now what do you do?
