ginas, Kelsey Grammer, Britney Spears, Elizabeth Taylor, and Larry King all favor same-sex marriage! And one article seemed to indicate Jon and Kate did as well.

JB, so then why would Jesus use Genesis 2:24 as a foundational verse for marriage if His Father did not mean it to be just that and Paul did the same as well? You pro-homoseuals are willing to do about anything to justify the sins of homosexuality to include denying God's truths as found in His Word.

oNB, last time I checked Christ did not live under a democracy and never had the opportunity to vote, but I am sure He would render unto Caesar what was Caesar's by being a good citizen and vote. JB, God uses the word wife in Genesis 2:24 and specifically refers to Eve as Adam's wife in Genesis 3:17.

JB, needless to say a person is free to make all the assumptions they want when it comes to the Word of God if they choose to reject that facts of God's Word such as the literal existence of Adam and Eve. But once again Christ affirms God's definition of marriage and Paul reaffirms it in the New Testament.

I believe they should do their best to not let it interfere with their study to the point they ignore clearly substaniated data but in those areas where the study or evidence calls for one's interpretation we would be naive to think their personal belief systems would not play a role if not a vital role in their interpretation of the data, evidence, and/or study.less

av, while we don't have all the knowledge Christ possesses we have God's truths as found in God's Word and we are all as believers indwelt by God's Holy Spirit which allows us to discern God's truth from false truths that are found in false religions and cults.

JB, there certainly is mention of marriage in the Genesis Account of Creation and specifically the creation of Adam and Eve. If not then why would Christ and Paul both quote Genesis 2:24 when they were defining marriage in the New Testament.

tj, there you go with generalizations that I am talking about with regards to creationists refusing to accept data that contradicts their preconceived notions and that supposedly evolutionists don't do the same thing. But my contention is that the majority on both sides do not reject the data but they do reject some of the interpretations of that data.

tj, as I have stated since early on, it's not that I have not looked at your interpretation of the evidence but my ability to truly understand it is rather limited and I am by no means mocking your interpretation of the evidence but at times am amused at the conclusions you come to about evolutionists being more knowledgeable, capable, and open-minded than creationists which is simply not true. And as I said atheists really have no choice than to reject creationism unless they are willing to acknowledge there is a God and the God of the Bible is Him. As for providing you evidence that there is a God, I am sure there is nothing I can share with you that has not already been shared with you probably more than once. And reality is there comes a point that there is no more to share and the remaining part of the journey requires a step of faith that it appears at this point you are not willing to take. So my prayer would be that someday you will be willing to take that step!less
