I am curious why abortion and a mariage amendment are so important to most Christians. Don't get me wrong. I am pro-life and pro-family. However, the President has little control over these things. Who we should really focus on is someone who will truly up hold the Constitution and prevent the spread of Anti-American Socialism and Communism. When we do that, pro-family and pro-life will follow behind. Unfortunately, no one left in the race will do that or has even shown it in there record. Mike Huckabee may be a good man but he lacks understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the purpose of government in it. I don't care how many degrees in Baptist/Evangelical/Bible theology he has. He just doesn't get it. All of us can start referring to each other as comrades, because we are headed for Communism.

Mike Huckabee trying to reach out to Romney supporters and expecting to get thier support after making anti-mormon comments just isn't going to happen. The only thing that Mike did for the GOP was help get McCain elected president. The only political aspirations he can have now is to continue being McCain's pawn and be his running mate. The only way McCain can win the south is if he has an "ordained" Baptist minister as his running mate. His chances of doing it alone were worse than a Mormon's.

O, just go on and say it. Romney didn't do well in SC because he is a Mormon. Not because he is a "recent" convert to the conservative cause. Look in Nevada. He took the majority of the white evangelical vote there 3-1 compared to any of the other candidates. You ask why? Because most of the evangelicals in Nevada know a Mormon compared to SC evangelicals. They know that all the anti-mormon garbage is a joke. They are not afraid of Romney's Mormonism. In fact they embrace it as a common friend in fighting Socialism. Maybe southern evangelicals should take a lesson form there western counterparts and vote for someone who qualified to be president (i.e. romney) and not just vote for the guy who claims to be more Jesus than everyone else (i.e. huckabee)
