the bible is the bible and their is all kinds of translations, It is God's word and I suggest that the people who are going to revise this, The bible God's word better watch out, the creator, And Judge is watching, so get it right, or He will get you.
either now, or when you are before him when you die.

  • What Does the 'Real Church' Look Like?

    blueshoes »
    Wed Sep 02, 2009 8:21 pm Agree: 4   Disagree: 2

A real church is about worshiping God, praising him, reading his word. Witnessing, being disciples of God.
taking care of the homeless, elderly, homebound people.
Teaching childern about the lord. Its about caring about one another, loving each other as God says. Its about doing Gods will. Its about Letting God run the church and doing what he says to do, not what people say.
For church is a house for sinners. Which we all are.
Now a days we have the mega churches, the drive through, like a MacDonalds. The Rev's and Pastors are not preachig the gospel the way it should be preached, Instead its the warm fuzzy sermon, the I do not want to offend anyone sermon. Instead of the truth, Its the book of James Chapter 2 church. God does not run the churches anymore Man does and they are totally messed up because of it. Some church people remind me of the Pharisees, and
Saducess in ways. And people today come for the music to be entertained, not to listen to Gods word and worship.
some times the churches make me sick, the way they are.
And the people are worse. A church is a hospital for sinners, not saints. And we are all sinners. But some believe they are not.
I have been to many churches, through out my life, and its the same thing. Especially the church business meetings, Oh, that is a mud slinging, name calling thing.
I have learned to stay out of all the politics of the church now. And let the people who think they are the know it alls, supers stars, money bags, go do it.
They get offended if they do not.
Me, I stay in the background and laugh at them a pray for them.

Michael was beyond help, he was a Jehovah witness, and as lost as they come. He was a child molester, and thought nothing of having boys in his bed, and a ruthless business man, if people around him did not brown nose him and yes him he just disowned them.
Yes God could and would have forgiven all of this.
But Michael was to lost for that. So hell bound he was and in hell he is, none of his power nor his money got him into heaven. And in the end he found out who reall was in charge, and had power and it was not him.
Many of these singers and movie stars are lost. they like a feel good religion.

when Eve ate that apple and Adam did to it started death. So I would say it started there. And well, man has a brain, and we do as we please knowing that some things we drink, and smoke can cause death, And drugs too.
But if that dumb Eve and Adam would have listen to God and not eaten that Apple none of this would have happened.

Church activities? that depends on what your talking about, if a committee, forget it, I am tired of the church politics. Churches are not run by God anymore its run by people and that is in my own opinion why they are a mess these days. Witness, well everyone is on a different level with that. We are all on different levels of spiritual maturity.

  • American Christians to Declare 'Dependence' on God

    blueshoes »
    Thu May 21, 2009 6:12 pm Agree: 1   Disagree: 1

We are to depend on God for everything. We have taken God out of everything, from schools, to our money now.
Its truly sad how man has destroyed this earth. God destroyed this world back in Noah's day because of all the evil, But said he would never do it again. just look at a rainbow that is the covent. Man kind has not depended upon God, we rely on ourselves. And think we can do it all with out him. An all we do is mess everything up. All one has to do is look at this world.
And what we have done to it.
We need to learn to depend on God for everything And the bible tells us to. Yet stumborn, mankind does not want to. I hope all christians get together all around the world to pray, But you can bet, that Satan will do anything and everything to stop it.

they ended up having to get some very serious help.
