Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (JN 8:32)

I watched the interview and was really surprised at how adamant he seemed to be on disassociating from Prop 8. During the interview my wife asked if Warren was for gay marriage. I understand being diplomatic but he really should think about what he is doing. It looked liked he cared more about what the world thought than what the truth is.

So the lying homosexual now tells us what is "right." Go figure.

I sympathize with his plight but he obviously cares nothing about the Kingdom or the Body of Christ to be making such a public spectacle of this.

First or second string? Really? Once again these are kids. These are KIDS! How often do high school basketball teams score 100 points anyway? It rarely happens and never around here. This was a game and not a practice session. This was total disregard for the other team and that is NOT Christ-like. I attended tons of high school games (football, BB, baseball)over the years and even in the secular world I saw coaches of super powerful teams have mercy (practically always). I have seen times when the clock would be allowed to run without stopping it in the second half to get it over. This was a coach who totally disregarded what was best for all the kids involved. He sure didn't involve God in it for sure.

As a little league coach I have experienced some drubbings by teams that could have took it easy on us and still won handily. Absolutely no one benefits from that sort of game as I saw it first hand. These are kids not professionals. The only winners in the end were the Dallas Academy girls and Covenant deserves the shame.

Let's hope that TV ministers living a holy lifestyle and staying married is part of the discussion.

The International Pentecostal Holiness Church is trinitarian. They do not believe that you must be baptized or speak in tongues to be saved.

I've been a couple of times and it was quite a snoozer each time. It is hard to believe it has stayed open as long as it has. It has a great premise and I hope that with new management this thing can get on the right track. There is a huge scale model of Jerusalem that must be seen.

Elsalvador,
If I, as a Pastor, were to fail to keep my marriage together, I would immediately resign. I would publically declare that I had failed and needed restoration. I would make it clear that this is not what Jesus had in mind for NT Church leadership. I would not continue in public ministry until someone I was accountable to said so, if ever again.
Believe me, I know that life is gray and not black and white. We all make mistakes and we are not perfect. I am merciful and compassionate. The issue here is Leadership and representation of the Kingdom. What about marriage? Do we proclaim to the church and the world that all of a sudden we don't think that the Word of Christ is relevant?
I say this is a manifestation of the spirit of the world being tolerated in the church. This hollywood Christianity is taking a course that I believe is not just carnal but sinful. God's power to live right and be happily married is real! If our leadership can't reflect that and even manifests itself as gossip page fodder we are all in need of sackcloth and ashes big time.

I agree as well. This is becoming a joke. I have said it before and I will say it again... turn off "Christian" TV and read the Word and pray for yourselves. The Apostasy has begun and it is televised!

Judgment begins at the House of God. We better start requiring these people to live right. I say we all stop watching these "Christian" TV networks and read the Word for ourselves.

Their hearts were in the right place but this was a very flawed strategy for reaching people in this part of the world.

I do agree with Pastor Leo though. I cannot begin to imagine anyone voting for someone who is pro-gay marriage or pro-choice. I just believe there has been to much emphasis on a candidate somehow furthering the cause of Christ.

I know this will come across as bombastic but does it matter? Bush is a Christian and I have no doubt a sincere one but he has been absolutely inept as a President. We have made to much of this. The church needs to get back to being concerned with the King and His Kingdom and be rapture ready. This ain't supposed to be about politics. Washington DC does not hold the key to revival for us. The end-times are rolling on and the antichrist is coming!
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
