Jesus willingly died on the cross for the sins of the whole world, so that our sins could be removed as far from us as the East is from the West. There is only one way that anyone can come to Heaven that is thru the acceptance of Jesus Christ as your Lord and belief in the gospel (the death, burial, and resurrection) by the confession of your mouth. For it is written: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Rom 10:9. Furthermore, Jesus clearly tells us that he is the only way into Heaven for it is also written in the Gospel of John 14:6: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Furthermore Jesus tells us “If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.” Philip saith unto him, “Lord show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, “Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then , show us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works sake.” Jesus also teaches us that He is the true vine; “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.” John 15:1-3. Salvation comes by the grace of God, not by works, simply living a moral life, and doing good deeds, will not get you into Heaven. And this grace of God comes thru the belief in your heart of the gospel of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom the world crucified, whom God raised from the dead, THIS IS THE STONE WHICH WAS SET AT NOUGHT OF YOU BUILDERS, WHICH IS BECOME THE HEAD OF THE CORNER.
