I am not surprised that Tullian is in trouble at his new church. He seemed not to be a good fit from the start as he was from the more liberal EPC rather than the more conservative and reformed PCA. It was also an ill-concieved idea to merge the two congregations. Tullian should resign and the churches should go back to the staus quo before they merged. This would be best for the unity, purity, and peace of the church.

How sad that a denomination such as the Assemblies of God would violate plain Scriptural teaching regarding female elders and church leaders. The AOG cannot expect God's continued blessings if it fails to honor God by obeying His commands. Obedience is better than sacrifice!

Kudos to the ICR graduate school for filing these lawsuits. It is disgusting that a state agency would discriminate against ICR because of their different intrepretation of scientific "facts" and their adherence to the Bible which is true in all matters it addresses including science, geography, and history. The scientists at ICR are highly trained in their disciplines and most hold a terminal degree (Ph.D., M.D., etc).

It is sad that Casting Crowns and AMB would go to the most anti-Christian country in the world and be used by the repressive North Korean government for propaganda purposes. I am sure their presence did nothing to help persecuted Christians in North Korea and they should reconsider any further appearences in this "peace and friendship" festival. The North Korean government is no friend of Christians...

This Barna survey just shows the lack of Biblical teaching in US churches and the fact that there are many in the pews who are not regenerate or "born again". Sadly, many who call themselves Christians are self-deluded and have never known a true relationship with God. Let us begin to evangelize in the pews and may our pastors preach the true Gospel of sovereign grace. May we also educate the converted in the whole counsel of God including the Biblical doctrines of the person of the Holy Spirit and the personhood, although created, of Satan and his minions.

I believe it is not in the best interest of the persecuted church in North Korea for these two bands to perform at this government sponsored event. It seems to me it will only further the propaganda aims of the repressive government in the North and do nothing to help the persecuted Christians...
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
