Armstrong's approach is altogether different than that of a campus preacher like Cliff Knechtle - who combines a carefully reasoned biblical apologetics with Christian love. Micah obviously has a great passion to preach, but is this kind of confrontational evangelism effective? At the end of the day, I rather doubt it. But then again, God used Balaam's donkey.

John 3:7 - it saddens those of us posting here that you pretend to know the heart of Mr. Gorbachev. According to Jeremiah 17:9, we don't even know our own heart. You know his heart - how? I recommend that you let God be God and spare the rest of us your judgmental comments.

Why would pastors have political candidates in their pulpits, anyway? Talk about itching ears. Don't they realize they're being played for votes? Will the kingdom of God be ushered in through Washington D.C.?

It's a travesty to think that people like Katharine Jefferts Schori and Gene Robinson will decide on the future ministry of men of proven character and integrity like John-David Schofield and Robert Duncan. These men have given their lives in service to the Lord and His people - and they will soon be kicked to the curb. What a sad state of affairs for the ECUSA.
