Look at so many Christians suffering right now in much of the world for their faith, the Chinese believers, a perfect example. It amazes me that we in the American evangelical circles subscribe to the doctrine that the Lord will come for us before the second half of the tribulation, when Scripture states in many places that just the opposite is true, and more Christians have lost their lives in the rest of the world for the name of Jesus Christ within the last three or four decades than in the last 2000 years! No, we're not destined for God's wrath, but among other verses, Paul promised Timothy that all who will live godly lives in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. That persecution will bear much fruit, however. (^:
