This story hits me very close to home. I currently live in Seattle, WA.. However, I was born in Minneapolis, MN
and raised in Moorhead, MN. This flooding has hit my family still lving there, as well as my childhood home. Friends as well say they are concerned. Everyone has either had problems with flooding or know someone else who had. My heart goes out to them as they pick up the pieces. My God show His love and mercy to these people in these trying times. Anyone able to help, and it sounds as if there are some, should. May God bless them!

I'm sorry...I've read the comments and....I cant agree with most of you. the teacher should not have handed out the invitations to the kids. he should (if he had too) gotten the addresses and sent the invites straight to the parents. There should be discreation (which he didn't show) and distance.... what i mean is his personal life should not have been brought out in the school. I'm sure the kids knew (they're NOT stupid)...
but I think the whole situation should have been handled differently. I personally don't approve of any type of relationship not approved by God in his Word. I pray for this teacher that he may see the light of God and
(I'm sorry) see the errors of his ways and the sexual immorality he's not only involved in but promoting as o.k. which again is my (as someone said) humble opinion.
Again remember For everything there is a time....
True a person intent on having sex will find a way....
taking a pledge and than not following through means the parents didn't instill values. I told my son "there are things you must not do because they are detestable in Gods eyes, and you don't want to disappoint Him or me..... If you make a pledge to do something you will not go back on it because that is lying.... I will trust you until you give me a reason not to. Can I trust you to do the right thing?" This was the highlights of a weekend lecture with my son and topic of discussion....
we bonded more that weekend then any other time in his life. now an adult he thanks me and continues to do what is right in his eyes, Gods eyes, and mine.

If one engages in premarital relations it is sinful, lustful, just plain wrong but people are engaging in these behaviors more and more.... now giving them a way to make it (o.k. ?) alright isn't in the eyes of the Lord..... These pills are against everything Christians, true Christians believe..... has anyone thought also about the spread of VD if using any type of behavior in which you need take percautions is against the teachings of God.

LEVITICUS 18:22 Do NOT lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable.
And what is detestable in God's eyes should be headed for the wages of sin is death.
Homosexuality/Lesbianism is detestable in God's eyes and sinfull. I tell people who come to me it's a lifestyle
detestable to God and if they want to be saved and have eternal life, or continue their sinful activities and have eternal damnation in Hell, get back to me on that.
Am i the only one who is tired of the wickedness of man trying to change rules, long standing beliefs, and becom-
ing members of the clergy?
These people while newsworthy issues seems to have found a home here. BEWARE the world is changing towards the dark and evil sides in these end times. be pure of thought and mind, remain faithful, and believe God will
take care of these things in His own time.

Amongst the non-believers their will be temptation and curiosity, however those spreading the Word should be educated to be aware of the dangers. Remember, when spreading the Holy Word the person (even a cild) is filled with the Holy Spirit, remind them of that.
You also must remember the children are innocent.
They are going to be seen and remembered as the best messangers of God.
As a chaplain I am highly upset of this article. First off, Laughter is a gift given by God if we are made in his image. Also check Ecclesiastes 3:4 ...a time to laugh.... If you think laughter is a bad thing than I totally disagree. As for cussing, swearing, or whatever we are calling it nowdays, the only word I use in my sermons is the one used in the bible - hell - otherwise there is NO room in the religious relam for all that.

I read in the newspaper just today of a plane going down, one of the 3-4 we read about yearly. DO NOT get me wrong I pray that every plane will be watched over by God and that His people be allowed to do their work. May the missionaries be careful and successful in all their endeavors. This I will pray and ask that daily they are blessed by God.

This report is disturbing. People should seek The Word of God not just in economical tough times or when things are not going well, but ALWAYS. As a chaplain i would expect people to attend some type of worship weekly, and prayer daily, for each day is granted to us not just to be expected. In addition, people are hypocrites in that if they say they are (Christians) religious, worshipers of God, seekers of the Holy Word; how come it seems they pray only when it's to their advantage to do so. I pray for the glorious things He does for me on a daily basis.
Prayer is not meant to focus on want's, desire's or worldly concerns. Worship is meant to praise God for providing us our needs, for giving us another day to seek out the good in all he GIVES us, and to bring the message to at least others who yet need to know God loves them and cares for all of us. As I spread the message I occasionally get those who scoff and say "If he loves us so much, why....?" All I can say is We need to love the Lord our God with all our hearts and that the problems of the world are caused by evil forces at play, wanting those who don't believe to blame God. Keeping faith now is the true test of our internal spirit working to and for God.

How can a follower of God, Spread the Good Word, and at the same time live a lifestyle which goes against the word and is hurtful in the eyes of the Lord? 3 times and you're OUT.... literally.

Inn-keeper..... You said it all! As a Chaplain I not only agree, a marriage is between a man, woman and God; no one should need a piece of paper to say they are. God Bless a Holy Union as He says it should be!

whether a bad risk for parole or not (and he was paroled) so someone must have thought he was ready to re-
enter society.... he should be treated as a person first and his past actions now are between him and God. Society, like the pastor, should be helping him not making him alienated and help keep this newly found sheep on his way to the shepard!

There is more responses/ commentary on this article than I have seen in the two weeks I have had Christian news! WOW! As a chaplain... those who say I smoked pot in college make it o.k. for the kids to do it....Kids smart enough to do math will put 2+2=3 and know my mom was pregnant with me when she was.... In the bible it states pretty specific sex is for married couples to have chilchen (I am paraphrasing of course) SEX is a dirty word parents are embarrased to discuss it with their kids...the church barely touches on the subject in their sermons...schools are obviously not listening to the parents (or God) for that matter and neither is the government.... Evil forces corrupt and tempt from Adam and Eve, Jesus himself Evil tried tempting him till the end days there shall be unrest upon the earth then God shall pass his judgement may he have mercy on the souls of sooo many who have not repented their wickedness. Is their an answer? unfortunately, no. God I praise you and ask may the end to this abhorant behavior come quickly.
Amen.

These people should be told their sin is between them and god....Not fotter (?) for daytime (or even nightime for that matter) television. Does Religion have a place in the Media Circus?
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
