  • Sex Sermons Cause Stir in Rural Alabama

I see not problem with discussing sex in the church because that's where it should be discussed. It's discussed all over the Bible and the importance of proper use of it which is what the world needs to hear. The church is here to save the world and they need to hear about who created sex in the first place. WAY TO GO LAWSON!!!

  • Stem Cell Decision Exposes Religious Divides

Chas besides what you just said (which I heartily agree with) there is also the problem of having to take anti-rejection drugs if a person should be the recipient of, let's say an organ "grown" as a result of fetal stem cell research. The benefit of adult stem cell research is that you would use your own cells to grow an organ and then it is your own so you don't need anti-rejection meds.

Regardless it is never right to kill the innocent in the name of benefiting someone else.

Hopefully Mississippi can start a trend in truth to put a damper the big lies of evolution. Science could advance so much faster if it were not hampered by evolutionary teaching. Evolutionists only prove that they are closed minded when they deliberately reject true science over desired results when interpreting the data which clearly points to creation. Don't bother responding to me if you disagree since I will not substitute the truth for your lies.

As a Christian voter I WILL NEVER forget the plight of the torture and murder of the unborn. Obama supports this and that makes him guilty as the doctor performing it and the woman asking for it.

This Christian nation was founded on the principles taught in the Bible and this is absolutely wrong. As a country we are paying for this kind of blatant sin right now.

Obama is clearly not the right choice because of his anti-Christian beliefs. This shows a clear problem which is the result of watered down Christianity that has infiltrated churches, homes and the media.

You might think your being silly but seriously, God does not take kindly to people that even hint at twisting his Holy Word. Christians already know this.

The Bible says the state wields the sword and that is it's job. This makes it clear that this along with old testament examples of political power are clearly differentiated from the principles for personal Christian living. Some are the same but some like defense are different. For this reason I see no problem with water boarding to get terrorist to speak and more than that I think God expects us to do it to protect the rest of the nation. Argue if you want but your wasting your time if you do.

It is sad that a man can try to do so much "good" and yet still be so confused about God. The Bible tells us a great deal about God and you can understand a lot more about God than this guy apparently did. Very sad, I fear that in the end he had no personal relationship with Jesus Christ and if true all his good deeds did him practically no good at all.

Obama has not been reading his Bible for sure. Also it is clear that he has no idea of Biblical application in either the government or personal life. Government is established by God to keep peace, law and order and that is why the Bible says the state does not wield the sword in vain. Shame on Obama for trying to teach Bible when he doesn't have a clue what is in it or how to apply it.

All I can say is, if a person wants to persist in sin that is an abomination to God why go to church at all? Just go out into the world and enjoy yourself in all of the debauchery you can find because when it's over it's really over. Sort of like burning the candle at both ends or going out with a blaze of glory or should I say shame. That way, when you get to hell you'll know that you had your way and did what YOU wanted to do and now your just paying the "piper" ...forever. Wow, what a way to go. God gives us free choice, as the saying goes, choose wisely.

  • Website Lets Christians E-Mail Friends After Rapture

    Tue Jun 10, 2008 12:26 pm Agree: 2   Disagree: 2

The idea of the rapture comes from Matthew 24:
36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven,[e] but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.
I think the web site is interesting for those who want to participate.

Anytime a group wants to "hide" something you have the perfect reason to find out why. With evolution that "hiding" will never end. Numerous great scientific contributors who were not creationists have major problems with Darwinism, that should say something to the less informed.

    dear pharmtech,
We should remember that "legal" does not equate to moral. Christians are bound by conscience to be moral whenever "legal" conflicts with moral. On judgement day it will not go well for those who don't make this distinction and the next life is the one that really matters. This life is preparation for the next and determines you eternal destiny so choose wisely.
