    It seems that we as Christians (Evangelical or not) have allowed our own soulish selves to miss God in these elections. We are voting based on emotions, not based on what God desires for this nation. Any Christian who has willingly and openly announced that he is voting for a candidate who is pro abortion, pro stem cell research, pro civil unions and who, in Illinois, supported gay rights by sponsoring legislation that bans any discriminatory acts is clearly voting from their emotions and not from God's point of view.
