Rick Warren makes a very important point about Jesus' identity, which was wholly spiritual. The same is true for each of us. We are spiritual beings, living in a physical world with a divine purpose. When you realize who you are, nothing is impossible for you.

  • Why Jesus Came

Is there more to the story of Jesus than just the religious figure?

Yes, its true that Jesus said he came to give his life as a ransome for many, in other words to die for our salvation. But why did he wait thirty years to do it? Surely the deed could have been done much earlier in his life, while an infant or even in his early twenties.

To understand Jesus you have to look "behind the scenes" of theology or doctrine. His example, more than anything, reveal the secrets to an abundant life.
