We are all called to discern the Lord's will for our lives by careful prayer and study in the Word. After all, Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and He shall make your paths straight." This decision is definitely a personal one for Mr. Warren and while it is easy for us to debate over what he should do, I think that's where we most easily fall into the trap of judging without our ever realizing it. The best thing we can do as Christians is stop analyzing Mr. Warren's decisions (future or otherwise) and start praying for God to direct him in the right way, make his path abundantly clear, and give him the strength to act solidly on what he knows God is leading him to do.
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
