God gave the Christian Mission world a gift in the life of Dr. Winter. He provided Kids Around the World wonderful, helpful information on where to focus ministry. He was focused, humble and a friend. He emulated Christ in his walk and encouragement of many. He will be missed. We were blessed.

because 2/3rds of the world can not read or chooses not to learn that way...... it is important to have cards with nativity or Christ birth pictures. The pictures help create memorable stories in the right brain. Communication verbally with "merry Christmas" also causes memory of Christ's birth.....learned mostly when a child. So important to keep "painting the story picture" in words, art, pictures and music .......for the majority of the world who learn this way.

The Lausanne Conference may need to consider "how to reach the children". Not only an initial acceptance of Christ....but training to grow into strong evangelical leaders of a nation, world. This means giving the teachers of children the tools to train. Kids Around the World uses the Jesus Film flannelgraphs as the tool. Orality, teacher, kid focused. Lausanne is so important for the future and for the children. thanks for the work being done.

I would be helpful, if you would have included the email address of the Algerian Ambassador to the United States in the article......rather than hope people can "find it"
just a thought. good article though, thanks for it.

It was great to see IDOL and its contestants sign Christian songs...... Shout to the Lord and by contestants. The producers should be thanked for recognizing Christian music as a valuable contribution to our culture and a major part of American society. and yes, the word Jesus should not have been dropped on Wednesday.....but great that the song was chosen at all !
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
