  • Hispanic Evangelicals Flock to Capitol Hill for Prayer, Advocacy

This organization is racist. They are part of the open-borders crowd that wants to give amnesty to illegals based on race. They are hardly what I would consider Christian. They are lawbreakers, as they harbor these illegals on the basis of race. They are power, and money hungry! I give them no credence at all.

I have a great idea for those blinded by the whole GW problem.....just stop breathing. That will certainly stop your "footprint"! But think about this. Everything that has a breath releases CO2! Never mind that Gore makes more of it than most do in a year. Follow your god Gore, and send him your money. See if he saves you instead of Christ Jesus. You will see warming like nothing other.

Citizen: Are you kidding? The Democrats? The are just as guilty, if not more, of hypocrisy! Please! Obama isn't much different. He was "pastored" by an etho-centric preacher in Chicago that believes Blacks are the superior race. Check it out for yourself. Both parties are to blame. Maybe you should become an Independent, Constitutional, or Federalist, to really stand behind our Fore-fathers. Dems do not have anything to give but the status quo. Just look how well Jimmy and Billary did. Give us a break. Vote them all out, and give us Trancredo or Paul!

Dave: "Deported back to heaven"? Sheeze. Do the math sir. Much more has been taken from our society than is given by illegals. Any small, in comparison, amount they pay in taxes is paltry to what they are stealing from our country. Your analysis of the situation, and comparisons to the Bible, are simplistic at best. Yours is more, like most folks, based on emotion; other than the facts. Respectfully yours.....

This "church" belonging to the UCC is probably like most in that denomination. They are typically New Age and apostate. So don't be deceived by the fact that it has the title "Christian" in it's name. Like "Christian Science", they are neither. It is good that body of people are being charged for their thumbing noses at the law.

Dave: The case can be made that illegal immigrants are committing thefts of jobs, educational, and medical services. The aiding/abetting of such are felonies by federal law. If someone broke into your house/property, and refused to leave, would that not be against the Bible's command to obey the civil authorities? It also says that God instituted the civil authorities, and that they do not carry the sword in vain. What Christ was speaking about was the so-called religious laws of the Jewish priests, not those of the civil authorities. So I believe that your premise is false.

It amazes me that so many unbelievers would "waste" their time trying to argue, debate, and try to disprove Christianity on the "Christianpost" website. If you don't believe in Jesus, why are you all even here? Why are you not posting on the athiest sites instead of bothering with this one? What does light have to do with darkness? Or do you think we would trade the truth for lies? As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!

Oh yes, as for the Whites, why would they hide their finances? I for one am against the "prosperity gospel" as it only seems to work for those preaching it! Try teaching that in a poor country like Haiti or Sudan's Darfur province. See how far that will get you. There are many that teach this junk. Jesus said that the poor will always be with us, and not to store up treasures here on earth. When people like Rodney Howard Browne teach things like Christ wore designer clothes, it makes me shudder.

This is so simple. The Gideons, once, were allowed in the classroom during school hours. They really have not, in many areas, done this for years. They distribute them out on the sidewalk in front of the schools. This is perfectly alright, and no one has legally been able to stop this thank God! Remember First Amendment rights?

    Carroll23,
Maybe you should read the Book of Jude. This is a satanic assault upon the Church, and I would advise you not to be a part of it. Jesus didn't have to say a thing about it. It has already been said.

Did anyone see the storefront "church" that this woman took refuge in? It's nothing but a front for illegal aliens. Over the doors are a rendition of the Mexican flag, and nothing "Christ-like" that I could see. The mainstream media seems to have forgotten to show us this. The use of race by certain "Christian" entities astounds me as the Bible clearly teaches against this. So why are there such organizations such as the National Association of Hispanic Evangelicals in our country, or anywhere? I think any organization that is based solely on race is an affront to our Lord. I don't see what race has to do with Christianity. I asked them about this, and recieved no answer. I find that it has to do with carnal power and influence. Where is the heart, and mind, of Christ? It would do well for us all to "test the spirits, to see if they are from the Lord."

I cannot believe that this woman did not get some jail time for felony fraud against the United States, and that there are those out there in the Christian community that would stand behind such a lawbreaker as this. This woman is not a moral crusader but an opportunist of the worst kind who has hijacked some folks to do her bidding. She is a thief of someone's identity, and now she blames us for not enforcing our laws. What a piece of work.

This woman, and others, are nothing but common criminals. She has not only entered the U.S. illegally, but committed fraud/forgery by using false federal documents. She should never have been set free to begin with. If the church wants to take care of her son by letting him remain here that's their business. She should be taken into custody and deported at once. Maybe even a little jail time too. If she wants her son, then he can go with her back to Mexico.
When they have their "rights" marches, and they should have none here, the ICE vans should be ready to pick them up and send them back forthwith!

No "allah" is not God. It is the pagan moon god. The so-call prophet is not a true one. Jesus is Lord and God over all. Even the Qu'ran states that everything Jesus said is true. He, Jesus, said He and the Father are One.

James, I'm still waiting for comments about the Book of Mormon. That extra-biblical one that
they use? What say you about the total lack of proof archaelogically? Even BYU says there is
none, and told missionaries not to try to use that as a basis for the book since it would be
fabrications. Also, speaking of creeds, who is it now that defines and translates the
meanings of scripture in the Mormon "church"? Why is it also that those have changed so much
throughout the history of Mormonism? There needs be no "centralized head" but Christ
Himself. He is the Head of the Church. We are His body. The Roman Catholic church might be a
majority, but I believe that the Pope and their hierarchy are deathly afraid of losing their
power base to the Evangelicals and Pentecostals, especially in South America. They have so
much as stated so, and are now posturing for the attacks against them. I think that is the
reason for his statement. Fortunately, I think that if most people read the Bible without
resorting to "creeds" they would be much better off. To be a Berean Christian is the best
kind. You as a Mormon have indeed listened to the creeds and proclamations of the Mormon
church to form your filtered understanding of scriptures, God inspired or not. In my
opinion, you have yourself allowed others to tell you how the Holy Scriptures are to be
translated, and not on your own, as you could not have come up with those things on your own just like followers of the Jehovah's Witnesses and other cults. You indeed have accepted
"another gospel" and "christ". The Mormon church has also accepted the biggest lie Satan
gave in the garden, that you too can become gods.

It would have made more sense to explain that most people are against "illegal" immigration which is ruining our country in so many ways. After all, these people are not innocent as they know that they are breaking our laws by entering under stealth and using forged documents to gain work and thereby stealing jobs from legal immigrants and citizens.

James: To label someone who testifies against Mormon doctrine as "antimormon" is to
disregard in totality anything truthful they might have to say about the subject. Those in
the Mormon church have done this for many years. It's their way of saying that everything
attested to by them is to be shunned, and not even debated. Sure, we can use purely human
argument to slant the Bible to say almost anything we want. You purport to use quotes from
people that are well, to somewhat known. But they are just humans too. You also mention that
the post-first century church has splintered, and to what end? Your own Mormon church is
splintered also. In fact the Reorganized Church of Latter-Day Saints is legally the only
"Mormon" church by way of court action.
Now let's touch upon the use of extra-biblical sources by the Mormons, namely The Book of
Mormon. Now tell me that you don't use that as scripture? There is no evidence at all to
prove the accounts thereof. Show me sir, when is it possible that a Black person can repent
and become white again? According to that book it was God's judgement upon a certain people
that they became black-skinned. Of course the "church" has disavowed that it is racist as it
did for polygamy. So, the Utah Mormons use "another scripture" that the Bible specifically
prohibits. Others have written much more exhaustive works about the fallacies of Mormon
belief and doctrine so I won't try here. Then again, you would label them "antimormon" even
though many of them came out of there and have specific knowledge about the subject.
As was stated by another poster here, how can Mormonism be considered a Christian
denomination when your leaders have said that we outsiders (Non-Mormons) are all corrupt,
and the Bible misinterpreted by everyone but Mormons? That is what the Jehovah's Witnesses
say about us, and you too.

The biggest problem is that the "Jesus" that Mormons believe in is NOT that of the Bible. They believe that he is Lucifer's brother. Therefore, they have a false christ. They use double-speak, meaning that they use the same words but with totally different meanings.
