Well, I'm only seeing hate coming from the homosexual crowd. When a Father gives us rules to follow and chastises those that don't follow, is that hatred on His part or love? All comments regarding the words of the Bible are spoken in love. If there is anyone who sees hatred that's only their perception. All comments regarding the words of the Bible are spoken in love. If there is anyone who sees hatred that's only their perception.
I'll repeat how God created us in His image proving homosexuality is a sin because it isn't natural:
Tough love is hard for people who don't like following rules that can save their souls.
Genesis1 "God made man in His image, He made them male and female" THEN, He said He wanted them to "go forth, be fruitful and multiply" Guess it's kind of hard for same sex people to do that one in the way God created man, proving that God doesn't "create" homosexuals -- in fact, if one were to look at that situation of same gender unions, it is really idolatery of self, reflecting one's lust onto one another, which, again, is sin.

Definition of SIN: An error in one's life that misses the mark. A fault in one's way that eventually will lead to death. God, who is a loving Father Creator, wants all of His children to know Life through His Love. Jesus said, if you will follow me, then follow my commandments. We all fall short of that everyday. We are all sinners, but as Jesus said, so will I say: "Now there is no condemnation, Go and sin no more" It's the last part that will save souls from eternal damnation. (His Word, not mine -- I only follow them as closely as I can.)less

Of course around here, they'll have to contend with the overpopulating Hispanics. this is not a racist comment nor is it intended to slam anyone, just a fact we are all observing lately.

I don't think anything Katharina said has anything at all to do with race. It has to do with balancing ideologies that contribute to free thinking, free speech and the freedom to pursue happiness. Islamic peoples are from every race. Christians are from every race and culture around the world.

I agree! This is in prophecy regarding the "king of the south" and the "king of the north" -- Daniel 11. These prophecies are timeless to the "end of the Time", so many times these things have happened and they will happen again at the end times, which I believe we are in now. The battles we come up against now are more spiritual than physically warlike, in that everyone is seeking peace and to co-exist, but that is difficult with the mindset of those hellbent to controlling and ruling the whole world. It is written in Matthew 12:42 that Jesus said "The queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it......"less

You are right about depravity and what it's done to all great countries -- this is throughout history. Rome, Greece, to name a couple were destroyed from within as depravity of homosexuality and gluttony ate away at the moral fabric of these nations. It will do the same to this nation also if we do not teach correctly how depravity is a downhill slide. Think about this possibility: IF we a...more

It will do the same to this nation also if we do not teach correctly how depravity is a downhill slide.

    Think about this possibility:

IF we are all a member of a body (whether as Christians or as a nation), and being made up of female and male members, and" if one member suffers all suffer" -- could it not be possible that some people feel the maleness of others or the femaleness of others more than most, making them more inclined to love one's of their own sex more. OR maybe there has been abuse from one gender more than from another, which made a child prefer his/her own gender over another. MULTIPLY that with being barraged by our media that sex is love and gratifying of oneself is the ultimate in living and what you have is a confused child in regards to love, sex, and life.

    Just a thought!less

Thank you for posting this article. Stonings, acid attacks, honor killings, state-sanctioned persecution… these are everyday occurrences in Muslim nations where women are still considered the property of their male relatives and where free exercise of speech and religion are considered crimes against the state and against Allah."

I wish mainstream media would pick up on this and tell the world the truth of what is happening to thousands of people around the world!less

Every religion in the world could live here if they could love one another as Christ taught. Every religion in the world could live here if they could love one another as Christ taught. Each country has a right to uphold its laws, expect all who live within its borders to uphold them or leave. Our Christian “religious tradition views each and every person as equal and precious in the eyes of God, and endowed by that God with inalienable rights……”

The world’s separate religions reflect the level of perceptions people have in their stage of soul development. We see this in the Biblical history. The Reason for people to believe God was in the lightning/thunder, or bush, and only “priests”could approach God. Man’s separation from God since Adams fall caused Man to hear God’s word from the perspective of their own lives. For example, Christ was in the pillar of fire by night to keep the Hebrews safe, but we know He is in our hearts. How much obscurity/darkness/confusion was in the minds of those of ancient days that heard God say go in and massacre the nation before you and take their spoil? IF God is unchangeable/omnipotent, what happened to His command to “thou shalt not kill”, which Jesus, “at the fullness of ages”, promptly brought back into hearts/minds as He taught the people to “love one another”, “put down your sword”, and “pray for your enemy” “for what you measure out will be measured back to you…”

Now, we all know God has boundaries that we shouldn’t cross over or we will die in sins, and we know that “God is Love” and “doesn’t want that any soul should perish”; so as people become depraved in sin, His mercy of tough love removed them somehow so they would go to sleep (death is sleep per Jesus) instead of continuing in sin that leads to eternal death. God being sovereign and merciful above all, gives a resurrection to good for the good, and a resurrection to bad for the bad. Jesus taught us to teach people to stop their depravity by loving God through the good news gospel.

Multiculturalism can work under Christianity IF people are willing to put down the sword and listen to the simple message of the cross. EVERY person on earth has suffered something and be able to understand the cross. This is the only way all cultures could possibly live together in peace. Not by accepting sin/lawlessness, but by explaining the gospel of Jesus Christ with Love.less

I don't think churches are handing it well at all, just like most of us. It is difficult to love the person, but hate the sin; especially when everyone relates both together. i.e., if I hate the sin of homosexuality, then I hate you. Oh that's just a bunch of nonsense! God designed life and put boundaries around it to protect it. When we don't follow the rules (sin against God), we pay for it, either here with plagues or afterlife in Hell. I can't understand why the messenger of God's word is always the one who gets blamed for His rules. And as far as "rights" -- since I'm not personally attacking gays or hating them, because I am a true Christian; why am I so hated and bullied to keep silent on God's word?less

In our small communities where we all know one another, there is not such an abuse problem because we all watch out for our own. It is appalling that in large cities it has come down to this abuse! More large churches need to become involved in this area -- there is really a need for a ministry of God's love for them. I suggest that many of us just retiring at 62-65 and still have our health would be perfect advocates and friend companions to the elderly in care homes!

How nice, Rhi Bran, that you get onto our Christian news site and throw stones! It is precisely the "increases" that we do not want the Federal government to start billing us for and then penalizing us if we choose not to have insurance at all! Unconstitutional to force any American citizen to purchase any service and then be penalized for it. I still have the right to keep my $500.00 per month that would normally go to insurance in a savings account for my medical bills! This so called "health reform" would not allow me to do this.

I agree that we need more health care provisions for children and elderly; however, if ICE would do its part in keeping out immigrants that are not here legally and using our welfare system, we would already have billions of dollars to put into the health system for children and elderly!!less
