Convoluted logic is always difficult to follow. Let me see if I understand. Koreans aren't hororable because they weren't properly prepared, pray with non-Biblical churches and even Moslems ! And because some Koreans in Korea protest the US, other Koreans in Afghanistan are dishonorable because they are caused to be martyred by stupidity . . . But the Taliban, in Afghanistan, by virtue of being Afghanis are honorable , even though they kidnap and murder innocent people, because the Afghan Government is patient and negotiates?

What is a "moderate muslim" The Politically incorrect guide to Islam, a book by Robert Spencer asks: "...is it one who would never engage in terrorist acts.. or.. simply one who sincerely disapproves of those acts... or..one who actively speaks out and works against jihadists.. or lastly... one who actively engages the jihadists in a theological battle, trying to convince them that jihad terrorism is wrong on Islamic grounds" ? You have to define "moderate" before you answer the question.

In any Islamic controlled state there are no "fundamental human rights" for anyone who is not moslem. The reason the Christians of Bethlehem have depreciated at such an alarming rate is the simple truth that they have only one possible way to go . . .leave ! Moslems may not convert to any other religion under pain of death. Non-moslems are given 3 choices 1 Become moslems . moslems say no one is ever forced to convert to Islam, but in light of the alternatives, people have been know to convert to avoid the other two choices.2 keep your religion, but with severe limitations( you may not even teach your children about their religion, or pray out loud, even in your church, which you may not even maintain without permission.) You must defer to moslems, may not dress as they do, you and pay a special tax which is ONLY paid by non-moslems, in addition to all other taxes imposed upon you. The third choice is death. What would you do ? Buy a ticket on the first camel out of town?

Is it honorable to kidnap 23 people, 16 of whom are women, then murder 2 men and threaten to murder the rest unless terrorists are released from prison, to kill more innocent people ? Seems there are still people in the world who don't know the difference between "honor" and "murder"

Nice try mufti ! Moslem scholars going all the way back to Muhammad have quoted the Koran on this particular subject. Sharia (moslem law) mandates punishment for apostates. koran 9:19 "take arms up for allah" K 47:4 When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield (jihad) strike off their heads K 2:214"...warfare is a great transgression, but to turn from Allah is a greater sin" No wonder these people are in hiding, the threats are real !

Why is anyone surprised at this? Moslems universally believe that they have the exclusive right to make the rules. It is Islamic tradition going back to the origins. Any persons taken under Moslem control have only three paths: 1. convert to Islam 2. submit to Islamic rule and pay a tax imposed on non-moslems (jizya) 3. death No moslem is ever permitted to leave Islam (death)
