What used to be served as a family has become work for the company . Southern Baptists do not know that their sending mission turns out to be a company . They hire and fire missionaries like a company . This contributes to the decline of Southern Baptist . Wake up local southern Baptist churches and let the mission agency know they should serve a a family and not as a company .

I completely agree with what he says . do it together and not as two separate things . Missionaries who do social work usually has a bigger budget than the one doing evangelism alone. I have to accept i make many mistakes as a leader of southern baptist missionaries . I also make decision that affect many missionaries to do their calling . I deeply regret . Let us do social work and evangelism together like Dr. Ralph Winter suggested in his well articulated message above

this is a very good project . As a leader in the Southern Baptist i recommend every church to follow the good example. God will bless. Everyone should be involved and do not kick anyone out .

Many southern baptist missionaries have agreed on speaking in tongues . This is a natural process . Once a person speaks he/she knows it comes from the Holy Spirit . Speaking in tongues becomes more and more prominent in the life of missionaries in the pacific rim due to the acceptance of the culture there . The first thing missionaries have to learn is the culture . Even though speaking in tongues begins in the western culture it is practicing in the pacific rim in Asia .

Southern Baptist missionaries have do a good job in planting churches . They called themselves strategist instead of missionaries and love the people that they are converted to Southern baptist Baptist . They do a good job .

this is a good news . I believe missionaries are safe to go to china and do whatever God call them to do . I pray that many Chinese will come to know the Lord and have a good life .

this is partly due to a few missionaries who work in the office rather than going out to do the work . The Simgapore office of the Pacrim IMB missionaries has many who work from 8 to 5 inside the building . Pray that they willing to go out and do thier missionaries duty . That is to meet the native and share the good news .

It is always good to have a forum when missionaries can gahter and share thier idea . We need to hear the idea of missionaries who are really doing the work and not the one who are working inside the office or inside the house . I found that sometimes missionaries who are inside the office has someting to teach the one who labors on the field . How can this be stop ?

I believe in speaking in tongues because of what the Bible says and not of any denomination say . As a Southern Baptist we respect the right of an individual to read the Bible and voice his or her learning from the Bible guided by the Holy Spirit . The moment that we do not respect the individual to express his or her understanding of the Bible turns us into one side mind . God gives each of us the freedom to express what we think . I like the first miracle when Jesus turns water into delicious wine . Let all who can speak in tongues speak .

I agree with Bill Wagner,candidate for SBC president 2008, that there are too much political reasoning involve . The International Mission Board has new direction and new strategy . It is no longer a missionary sending agency as it should be . It is a company . It used to be like a family when everyone related to each other as uncle and aunt . The mission family is a thing of the past . Now it is a company with big boss and small bosses. Pray that God will move the Southern Baptists to become a sending tools for the family of God .

It is true that child abuse or sexual touching is wrong . I believe we need to look at it and consider all the fact before making a hasty decision which hurts the innocent people .
There is nothing wrong with a sigle pastor or missionary to go out on a date with a single girl . Some pastor thinks it is wrong so they make a bad decision to discipline based on their emotion at the moment and not on the fact . Pray that this thing will not repeat again .
