  • Influential Evangelical: Mideast Uprisings Violate Biblical Command

By the way, it seems for some that the thought of the founding fathers being in conflict with the bible is impossible. I got news for you, some of them were.

sword, i see a fatal flaw in your argument. There is no contract.

  • Influential Evangelical: Mideast Uprisings Violate Biblical Command

Its interesting, I see more scripture being taken out of context to prove that MacArthur has taken scripture out of context. Look at some of the examples given here like pburwell and jvernott. Both clearly take scripture out of context to say that MacArthur is out of context. But anyone who knows anything about exegesis would easily see the flaws in their arguments.

RL you say that MacArthur has taken this scripture out of context. How so? You say that it should be applied narrowly and not broadly. However, most sound conservative scholars would disagree with your point. They would argue that this is a general broad principle to be followed. Now maybe more liberal scholars would agree with you. Again no one has answered MacArthur's point.

Its interesting that for those who differ with MacArthur, do it not on the basis of biblical support but on reasoning not grounded in the bible. I havent seen anyone rebut his basic point that the uprisings violates Rom 13. You may say that you disagree but where is the biblical support for saying that the uprising is biblical? So before you make the personal attacks, deal with his point.

  • Who Will Be the Next Great Voice in Christendom?

I hope the Christian Post is listening and paying attention to their readers concerns about posting a heretic.

Thank you giblien. I will not be surprised if the Christian Post pull our comments for stating the truth about one of their contributers.

I am surprised to see the Christian Post put an article on their website by TD Jakes. For anyone who knows the bible and/or Christian history know that TD Jakes does not affirm the Trinity. Even if you go to his website, you will see this fact. I guess his conference will teach pastors how to lead their congregation from true doctrine. I guess I should next expect to see articles from Benny Hinn and Creflo Dollar.less

Now you would have me to believe that we are at a crossroads? The issues that you list have been and will continue to be issues that we must deal with as Christians and Americans. Again, Land you say that this election is "critical." Were the other elections not "critical." My bad, they were just "important." Lets think for a moment, abortion became legal around 1973, I would say the country was at a crossroads back then and even before. But again I think your point would be that now the country has taken a "sharp turn" in the wrong direction instead of just a turn in the wrong direction.less
