I guess I'm just going to come right out and say it: this article or whatever you want to call it looks like one big sheet of balogna. It looks like numbers jotted down according to various biased surveys that have absolutely nothing to do with Christianity in the first place. I can't respect anything about this article as the only thing it seems to do [in my opinion, anyway] is to shove numbers in other people's faces. It says "Nyah nyah, we have more than you do!" like a silly childhood nursery rhyme, counting people as assets to a religion. That's NOT what it's about, and I guarantee you, who ever wrote this dribble, is a number-crunching crazy who obviously doesn't know the first thing about Christianity. It's about the love, folks. I'm not even a Christian and I know what's up.
Now am I attacking ANYONE for being a Christian? NO I AM NOT. You love the big man? Awesome. I just want to clear that up. I'm a long-time Christian who abandoned the faith and I'm not attacking people for their beliefs. I AM however pointing out various things that are unnecessary and give Christians a bad name...such as these ridiculous statistics here.
On our own we are little more than bits of stone and glass. Together we are the Body of Christ. Holy Bible: Mosaic is an invitation to experience Christ in His Word and in the responses of his people. Each week, as you reflect on guided Scripture readings aligned with the church seasons, you will receive a wealth of insight from historical and contemporary writings.
