That definitely sounds like something God, our Creator, would be for. It is without doubt a great risk to take, only, by chance, to find out we were wrong. That is if we fear God. I don't know if our ignorance through presumption will suffice in detering our judgment from the results of our actions, in the end. If we gauge the success of our lives and actions by observing the condition of the world and the church, I think are presumptions are amiss.

What is sad is that the birth control pill is an abortifacient. It aborts babies and doesn't prevent pregnancy, as everyone thinks. Women that take birth control pills are actually aborting their babies. Many are against abortion when administered physically, but will they stand against it when involves a pill? There will be a lot of answering to be done before the Lord.

Yes, Tom you are right. Homosexuality is a fleshly lust as is adultery. They are both sinful lusts that must be abandoned by all who are controlled by those lusts. These sinful actions have nothing to do with love. Those who have come out of homosexuality have succeeded in overcoming the sinful lust of the same sex, so they may abide in the design of God for sexuality. The person who stops committing adultery has succeeded in overcoming the sinful lust of more than one woman so they may abide in the design of God for sexuality. It's as simple as that. Only someone who cannot or will not accept the truth of God will be in denial of this.

You are absolutely ignorant to the Word of the Lord and, yet speak and declare as if you know. A fool is always considered wise until he opens his mouth, then he is exposed. If God loves Lucifer as you state, then, why has He already judged him to be cast into hell? God loves, but he still pronounces judgment to the disobedient.

Mike: Your the one that said that "God gave us a mind to think critically." So if you want to believe something that Scripture does not support, then, your critical thoughts are superior to God's. This was the same mindset the devil convinced Eve to embrace. It's not hard to judge someone who has this kind of philosophy. The Scripture is full of examples. It's defined as idolatry, pride, fleshly lust, carnality. I can't help it that you place yourself in that position through all that you say on the myriad of threads. Your mistake, outside of having this philosophy of mind, is to tie love together with sexual intimacy. Just because you have the one doesn't mean that the other is automatic. It is regulated based on the instruction given in God's Word. But, I'm sure, in your critical thoughts, you will find a way to dispute this truth and convince yourself otherwise.

If its design showed understanding to and emulated that which God has ordained, seeing that He is the authority on marriage and divorce since it all originated with Him and not man, then I would be compelled to vote for it. This is why I would be compelled to vote against homosexual marriage, because with God, so evident in His Word, there is no such thing. I have no anomosity toward homosexuals anymore than against adulterers. I speak against both. Speaking of that, I believe the laws concerning divorce should be more strict. For Christians, I subscribe exclusively to what Jesus and Paul said concerning divorce. I believe many Christians are unaware of their own violations to God's Word when it comes to marriage and divorce. I do my best to teach it as it is recorded in the Scriptures. Of course, not all listen to me, as I'm sure you won't regard anything I say about homosexuality and what Scripture proclaims either. I'm no respector of persons. We are all in need of grace.
