@ JohnBartlett I think it’s so funny when people say Jesus was a liberal. No he was not, at least not according to what the current definition of what a liberal is today. A liberal does not care about the poor as Jesus did. A liberal today says to give your money to government welfare programs that waste billions and billions of dollars that make politicians rich and still do nothing for the poor. Nor does a liberal know what love is. A liberal says do whatever you want and don’t worry about sin or hurting other people. You have the right to do whatever feels good because it is your government given right even if it’s wrong. That is far from Jesus spoke about

Nor do liberals give up their riches. Just look at Hollywood and all the liberal elites. Liberals do not love their enemies either, just look at how they vilified the tea party, George W Bush, many Christian organizations, and behave in Wisconsin. I could go on and on so do not even begin with the "Jesus was a liberal" silliness.less

It is impossible to be a liberal (the left) and a real Christian. It is impossible to be a liberal (the left) and a real Christian. To be a liberal means you stand for socialism, homosexuality, abortion, replacing God with the state, relativism, drugs, sexual immorality, divorce on demand, euthanasia, selfishness, preventing people from reaching their full potential by convincing them that are poor and victimized and in need of handouts so you can keep your power over them. Being a liberal also means embracing the ideas of Marx or Nietzsche, or Hitler and being a racist while accusing and defaming others of such. The left even lies and attempts to portray all this evil as being truly compassionate and fun, proclaiming you have the right to sin and do whatever you want. The Democratic Party has a long history of racism and support of such groups whether it be the KKK or the Muslim Brotherhood.

To be a Christian means to stand for holiness and morality, justice, hope, a better life than what you have, the sanctity of life, salvation through only Jesus Christ, redemption, true love(not this I love you so do whatever you want ideology), repentance, faith, understanding that our rights come not from the government but from God, the freedom of the individual person in Christ, the understanding that marriage and sexuality are holy and gifts from God meant for the procreation of life and unity of a man and woman in a covenant of matrimony. To be a Christian is to also understand that the poor are taken care of not through cheap government hand outs but through the ministries of the churches and individuals that get the poor and homeless back on their feet while encouraging them to make something great for themselves.
This is not to say that the “Right” today is always correct; however, despite its imperfections the “right” is more in line with what is correct than the left today ever will be.less
